Re: All black Dragonfly Salt...one step closer?

Puzzled by the fact that a couple people need the dragonfly to be more discreet. I mean, it's a dragonfly. It may be that way for some. But for me, I just enjoy the look/feel of a coated blade. I don’t need the scales/bevel coated by any means, had you been referring to my comment. It was simply an...

Re: All black Dragonfly Salt...one step closer?

I suppose it would make sense. Those who don’t like yellow may prefer an all black look. I know for sure there are plenty of us looking for more black blades for the Dragonfly 2. Sounds like a winner to me

Re: Cutlery Shoppe Hap40 zome Delica

I certainly will! The way I see it, all I have to do is take apart my Damascus Delica sometime between now and the 18th. The by then, it would only make sense to put it back together with these Zome orange scales :p

Re: Cutlery Shoppe Hap40 zome Delica

Love my Endura version! :) I know everyone's tastes are different, but I'm surprised how little interest there was with the Endura. I think this black on orange Zome looks amazing and you can't go wrong with HAP40. I don’t have the Endura version of this layout, but I couldn’t agree more. I got my ...

Re: Spyderco 2020 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming

Thank goodness! The Endura 4 rubs me the wrong way, so the CS version wasn’t tempting me. I’ve always wanted a Zome Delica with some upgraded steel, so I Pre-ordered one.

I can’t speak as to wether or not they will be available elsewhere this time around, but last time these dropped, I did see them on other sites.

Re: Your iwb carry.

pacific salt se black/dlc all day, every day. the rounded edges on the handle and light weight make it a perfect tool for this application. I have to agree with you, almost word for word! PE for me, however. I chose mine for iwb initially because of the rust proof material, but it stayed because of...

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

Rex 45 is well known for its ability to avoid oxidation without too much moisture in the air or on the blade. Maybe they decided they were good without? Maybe the wood absorbs any moisture that might somehow leak in the bag before the customer gets their hands on it, giving it just enough of an edge...

Re: Burnt Orange Rex??

Same here! I’m so excited. I was blown away when I saw all that orange in the reveal. I had just bought a military in Rex 45 the day before, and already had the rosewood shaman on pre-order. I had the Para 3 since release, but heard it was run much harder in the Military production. I’m stumped as t...

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

I love the way the vignette accents the wood! Nice photo as always, RadioactiveSpyder. I don’t post much on here, but I have to come in to defend the scales. I don’t typically like wood on a tool/weapon, but I’m starting to see the appeal. They have a wood like texture in my opinion. I thought these...

Re: Straight Spine Stretch

Don´t have a Caribbean, but you rusted hardware on a Salt knife within a day?!? I suppose so :/ it may have been rusted before I got it(used). It may be that the previous owner cleaned any rust that was showing before selling it, and when the screws threads got wet again, some most rust accrued. Or...

Re: Straight Spine Stretch

Just be sure to dry it thoroughly, quickly after you’ve got the desired color shade. I rusted hardware on a Caribbean when I lent mine to my mother in law for food prep. She destroyed that thing, lol... the edge was toast, and she didn’t (nor did I, for that matter) take any measures to dry it befor...

Re: Para 2 Maxamet

$150 for mine  but I’d happily pay the asking price if I had to. Such a neat steel, I just wish I had more of a need for this firepower. Mine came incredibly sharp as well, thankfully. Should touch up for a few years before I need to do anything further to sharpen it with my use.

They’re a licensed dealer, and they had to raise their prices to keep that status.

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

Not truly a crazy deal, and may already be known to some. And I also know the air surrounding them, but Bento Box Shop now offers free shipping on orders over $99. So thats like saving $15. It was news to me, and I picked one up thanks to the post. Normally they’re $140+, so I consider it “crazy”er...

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

That Para2 look legit to everyone? Thinking of picking one up at that price.. It does look legit. The digi pattern looked to be tad off on one side, but that’s probably just the way that specific example is. The seller has good feedback, and eBay has your back if it is not authentic. I’d say go for...

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

Thanks ekastanis, I’ve been kicking myself after missing the Shaman at a similar low price. Same seller has new DLC PM2’s and Manix 2’s in S110V at nice prices($110 or so each) Great feedback as well!
