And at an very nice price of $160. I've got mine preordered!
I've got to wonder though; how is it so much cheaper than the Southfork? Not complaining for sure but was definatly expecting close to Southfork priceing on the Sprig.

Definitely a Schrade. Just picked me one up from Wally World! Only 10 bucks and cuts as good or better than any Spyderco!

Now I'd just like to see black coated liners on that particular model to complete the "blacked out" look.

Re: Thumb Cut-out for G10 Caly 3?
I would say because its not needed (on every model) and would add cost to manufacturing which would increase the price to the consumer.bluedog wrote:There must be a good reason why every Spyderco knife doesn't have a ramp like that but I can't think of one.

Re: Knifeworks M4 PM2!!
I understand. It does sharpen well and hold a keen edge for quite a bit for me BUT I do not like the extra maintenance such as cleaning and oiling to avoid corrosion. I can get the same performance from one of several stainless but to each his own. People might end up fighting over availability onc...

I think I may have finally forgiven my K390 mule for cutting me so I'd go for a K390 Paramilitary 2.

I almost forgot to mention that your special deaconess knife can have cute little star screws and you can name the spyder having the name engraved next to it on the blade.
Doesn't that sound sooo cute?!

Dear Chloe the Deaconess Please forget about the William Henry custom. It is not the knife you want. What you really want (& deserve) is an M4 steel sprint run exclusive Paramilitary 2 in a G10 color of your choice. Preferably not pink or purple... Don't let "military" in the name frig...

Am I the only one who doesn't like liner/frame locks? No, you are not alone. +1 Lil Temp 2 is the only one I will for sure be buying because of the lock. Although I have several liner and frame locks that I like the ergonomics, blade shape, etc the lock keeps them from getting much pocket tim...

I leafified a few of my PM2s, not because I prefer the leaf blade shape but rather because I like my edc knife to have a 3" blade. http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/i410/FDEMP/Mobile%20Uploads/tmp_IMG_20140913_163447_279-184750906_zps6eaec5f6.jpg The less pointed tip is the only thing I don't...

Re: White scales
I would imagine the reason is white scales would be near impossible to keep clean looking. Not high on my priority list but I know it would bother some. I like the idea myself mostly because it could make for some really cool RIT dye projects.

Great, I can see that I won't be finishing any projects this year. If this is just a taste of what's on the way I can't wait for this weekend. So far the GB2, Ion, and Lil T2 are must haves for me. The Lil T2 is my favorite so far, it does remind me of the persistance a little but with a longer bla...

Re: A little wood cutting with the Chicago, some comments on grip
I too would like the edges rounded off more on basically all my G10 Spydercos. One thing I have noticed on my Paramilitary 2s; Older PM2s (my orange cts-xhp for example) have nicely radiused edges while all my newer variations have noticeably smaller chamfered edges on the G10. When used for extende...
