Sucks, I gave up on my deposit, since I could not justify to pay the balance. It is an expensive knife.

Don't see any point in this. The hole is the reason I got in to Spyderco to start with. Just because of that, this one is not on my list to get. I know there are a lot of opinions about that, but the way I look at it is "if it's not broken, why fix it". The Spyderco hole is the way to open...

For protection, I think a different length and blade is required. Police or Military would be my choice (one of these is in my pocket most of the time). Choosing between the two mentioned above, I would go with Caly. Personally, I'm not a fan of stretch and find Caly's design more efficient and comf...

I would say go for 2. I own the M390, the Para and the Sage and if I had to choose, it would be the 2. M390 and CF is a great combination, but the size of military is not for everybody as well as a necessity in super steel. For about the same price (M390 is going on the bay and other forums for over...

Depends what you will use it for. If the cost is not an issue, ZDP is the way to go. Personally, I carry an H1 which Does not rust. I use it for food cutting and can't clean it during the day. For other needs I would go with ZDP. It's a strong steel bud.

Balance is a great knife. The ergos are amazing. I got it in both CF and SS and use them a lot. I have Cricket but do not find this knife very useful.

Moonglow firefly

From time to time I end up in a situation at work, when it's dark, and I can't find my keys. Since I love to have a small Spydie on my keys I thought it would be nice for it to cut and glow :D . I think it will be very usefull. Was anything like this brought up before?

I won`t get in to a physics or chemistry of the steel (not that I`m even qualified), but can tell you that this steel is good. As an example, my Police was working on a daily basis on a heavy duty tasks and lasted for a few month before hitting the stones (and my knives HAVE to be sharp). Also, Spyd...

But man, you guys sometimes remind me of an old housewives club. Sorry, but putting your 2 cents in a conversation ...
