Re: Breaking Burrs

It always feels great when you reach another milestone in your sharpening journey. Congrats! Here are a couple more tips. :D If you like to drag your finger or your nail across the edge to see if it is sharp then try dragging across the edge in both directions. If it grabs more going one way than th...

Re: which spydeco for a non spyderco person?

If you think he is set on a bowie shaped blade like Buck tends to use then Lance might have a good suggestion with the worker. I am a big fan of the Centofante3 myself and it has a great blade grind and is good looking and the price is right. Non spyderco people and old timers in general don't see t...

Re: My new CF Sage 3 and I are not getting along...

My Sage3 is the smoothest knife I own and if anything lacks detent. It would be an understatement to say it is easy to open and from what I have heard on here that is the norm. If your Sage3 isn't blowing your mind with how smooth it is then something still isn't quite right. Disassembly is difficul...

Re: Spyderco Stretch SE owners

Forget the knife...how's that beer taste? :) We are pretty spoiled here in Colorado with all the microbrews and I am a total beer geek. I have tried a ton of different beers over the years and Orabelle is one of my favorites. I love belgian strong ales though. My husband and I love trying out all t...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Well, I did a little backpacking and deer hunting the last two days and I brought my S110V Mule with me to do the dirty work. No deer but I did see this grouse on my way back to camp yesterday for lunch and a well placed .357 hollow point took care of business. He was way better than the freeze drie...

Re: "**** the choils, full speed ahead!"

On some knives they are superfluous and on others a necessity. I couldn't use the Native if it didn't have one.

Re: S110V Paramilitary 2 has dropped!!!

hmmm... Bad time of year for me. Hunting season seems to eat up all of my disposable funds this time of year. Good thing this is regular production because I am gonna have to wait as I am positioning myself to pick up a couple other knives first. I got a few Paras to hold me over till then.

Re: Spyderco Stretch SE owners

I have one and love it. It doesn't get carried enough but that is because I prefer plain edges for my uses. The grind is great and it cuts vey well. I have a super blue Stretch that I carry often and I love the stretch platform but I just don't need a large serrated knife very often. It is my portab...

Re: Manix 2 without a choil

Take a look at the Centofante3. It has an amazing blade to handle ratio and the blade is all edge. It is a great blade and it is a steal at the price it usually sells for. The Southard is great in that dept too.

I too would love to have one. Although, with the M4 and S110V coming I can certainly wait for a Cruwear model until after them. My wallet can only take so much. :D

Chuck, I like the honey pic. I was suprised you changed it. Do you keep bees? I garden and keep chickens and have been talking about setting up a hive for years.

Re: HAP40 Delica and Endura

I have only preordered one knife and it ended up never coming in or I was further down the list than they made it before they ran out. I ended up picking it up at the SFO anyway. I have many sprints and have been able to buy every sprint that I have wanted without preordering. Just keep your eyes op...

Re: PM2 S110V question

I think that the CTS204P is still gonna be my favorite and I will be picking up an M4 Para2 regardless of whether or not I have already got a S110V model. I don't collect Paras and I currently have 3 of them. I will be buying both the M4 and S110V version myself.
