state knife laws

Let's create an "info thread" for those unfamiliar with their state's knife laws, state by state, by those familiar with them. In Connecticut, no blade can exceed 4". Any that do become a "weapon". Connecticut, generally speaking, doesn't seem to throw in fixed blades or loc...

should spyderco revive the spyderedge?

Not that it's really gone away, mind.... but :spyder: used to offer it as an option on all it's knives. I personally like serrations, and while not really lending themselves to total utility on a knife, they do conquer cardboard with ease, look wicked, and we do have a following for them here. With ...

any C122 tenacious owners out there?

I'm thinking of getting one from SFO ( :spyder: edge ) I'm just curious if the quality is the same as on the Japan made bugs. http://spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=294 I never have a problem with the blade steel ( in this case 8CR13MOV ) as I don't consider it a prerequisite as long as it'...

The ring + blade style may work against you. Given the lack of a thumbreak and the slick handles, i'm disinclined to consider this particular model as a decent example of a folding Kerambit. (Sorry Sal.) swingshot - Actually, the WT kerambit seemed like a bit of a "sleeper" on the market,...

Do you consider the kerambit a tool or weapon?

I'm considering getting the :spyder: Warren Thomas kerambit and, due to some restrictions, am wondering if it should be considered a tool or weapon or both . Failing that it'll either be a :spyder: cricket PET or a tenacious ( I really like the new tenacious ) SE. Okay, what say the augurers? AET

Pity to see MT fall off, they used to make some really nice stuff. Back in the day Tony Marfione himself polished the edges. Was never a fan of the LUDT or the knives that spring from it. The D/A OTFs are nice.. but the freefloating locking tabs are an accident waiting to happen. swingshot - Here's...
