Re: Up for sale on eBay - Spyderco Resilience from Bear Attack last week - $5900

Maybe he sells the bear with the knife.
That would explain the costs.

It's not the first fake story to sell something.

Re: 302UF vs 306UF

I think the size is different.

I have the fine and medium with the case and like them.

As you can buy the sharpmaker UF rods in singular I also recommend them.

Re: Para 3 LW and G-10 blades interchangeable?

Nick shabazz built a g10 Maxamet into the lightweight.

I had struggles with changing the para 3 lw clip (soft screw and spinning). In a g10 i swapped the scales with was also painful.

It's not easy but might work.

I have both and there is no difference feelable.
Also it's impossible to differentiate.
They look 100% the same.

Re: Small knife with satisfying action

There is nothing available. I love the action of the Para 3 / Para 3 lightweight. I carry now mainly the dragonfly as it's smaller and lighter and has still a big enough blade and good action. I had a few lil native compression locks. The action is ok but not as good as a Para 3. It's a tank. A tiny...

Re: Spyderco British Blades Edition

Hello.

Ebay is normally a good place to find special things.

I suggest to look also into the big portfolio of current Spyderco models.
They have something for everyone in different steel, colors.

Why should it be exactly this one?
Some special reason?

Yes they have no Shaman.
But they have the knowledge to do.
I would give it a try and contact them.

Re: Lil’ Native LW

Same as spydergirl88

But I like that the lil native is a lil sage which features different locks. All the available variants should get the lightweight treatment.

It's the smallest compression lock so this definitely!

@sal: thanks for your comments. That are good but also sad news, overall more good I would say. The Exclusive are back to be the icing / cherries on the cake. Looking forward to the catalog-stuff released and excited for the upcoming sprints / flash batches and exclusives as well. Again, thanks to y...

Re: Do you disassemble your knife to lubricate it?

Disassemble is always a pain so I avoid as much as possible. Even clip screws are better to be untouched.

At the break I do not oil it.
After it's broken in it gets a bit of oil.
Sone tiny bits with the long needle.

Re: Increase in Exclusives?

Thanks for your answers guys. The slysz bowie exclusive was sold out quickly. Couldn't Spyderco made a Sprint and distribute it to all stores all over the world? But would it also be sold out so fast? Or are the exclusive more limited and therefore higher in demand and we are more eager to buy one? ...

Increase in Exclusives?

Hi. I am feeling there are more and more Exclusives. Many of the new arrivals of handle material / steels were Exclusive. They are harder to get outside US. RamZar was so kind and provided sone numbers. YEAR NEW SPRINTS PERCENT 2021 61 29 48% 2020 100 54 54% 2019 97 42 43% 2018 93 56 60% They do not...

Welcome Oceansidepatrick Dfly: is it plain or serrated? Thumbhole: sharp is better. My worker has a chamfered hole and it not that effective. Overall, weight and performance it's very hard to beat the dragonfly. Screws: thread locker is your friend. I use blue but if it should be more permanent use ...

I like to throw in the Dragonfly.
Lil Native as well. Might be Delica also.

You can go to e.g. BladeHQ and enter the parameters and see what is there.

I highly recommend the Para 3 lightweight and Dragonfly!!
