Re: USA Made Keychain Micro Spydies

+1
Lil native lightweight compression lock might be it.

The lil native is unfortunately too overbuilt and heavy.

Re: How have your preferences changed over the years?

I started mainly with the Para 3 G10.
As the lightweight came out I switched to it.
Now I am more into the Dragonflys.

A lightweight 2-2.5 inch compression lock knife would be cool.
I have high hopes in the lil native lightweight...

one color per steel?

Sage 5 Rex 121 lightweight will come out in burnt orange.

Burnt orange was used for Rex45.

I thought Spyderco uses mainly I color per steel.

Re: Straight Razor from Spyderco

I would like to see the prototype, even if the final product would look different. I had not so good experiences with straight razors but the Spyderco approach I want to try. The razors I had were all not sharp enough. Even after letting them sharpen again professionally. All spydies so far were inc...

Re: Over sharpening?

If the cut feels rough I do a few sharpmaker strokes. Usually ultrafine.

But could others are doing much more.

Spydies should be users - for cutting or sharpening.

Re: Anyone use a safety razor?

I ordered the Henson medium 2.0 :D I love the smoothness of the first version, how it glues to the skin. This I am missing on #2. But #2 is much better under the nose. For me the handle is the same. The AL13 aggressive also had the new handle. Did not notice when I bought it. I changed now the handl...

Re: Sprint Runs

Back in the days there were the standard models and every year a few specials (sprints). Different steel or models or variations. 1200 pieces. One shot, if it's gone it will never be made again. You could buy it in all Spyderco shops everywhere. I bought in my offline knife shop in town in Europe. T...

Re: Face lathering

I put shaving cream on my face. Then use the wet brush to make the lather. Often the second pass is smoother and slicker. More glide. So, I started at the last shave to wash of the lather the first time. The only disadvantage I see is that the mirror gets more dirty spots. But on holidays I always f...

Sal said it must been produced in Golden. It should also been lega in many places. Means non locking and blade length. The forum guys and girls could not even agree on a model. Not to mention the color, steel,... I see the forum knife only coming to life it a forum boss makes a decision. Sal brings ...
