All I know is the less s30v in the lineup the more of the lineup I’ll buy. Upgrade away.

Re: Spyderco Pre-Diver
Love these old SS spydies with all the odd swedges and milled in features. Super interesting stuff. And this is absolutely incredible This is a 1998 knife, article 2001. There were also diving knives similar to it (the knives are not mine, the photos are not mine): 2002 Dive Probe http://ixbt.photo/...

Re: Dealing with high humidity
I’m in MN so same region as ya. I just keep the steel in my pocket in mind when going out, for instance I’ve got a knife in s30v and a knife in xhp, neither of which I’d take out on a walk. Errands maybe. 20cv I’m less worried about, but if I’m really running around I’ll carry something in lc200n. I...

Re: Endela All stainless steel
Maybe a brushed titanium would get more people on board? I’ve always like brushed metal handles for whatever reason and appreciated the craftsmanship, but I’m not sure that I’d buy it. Maybe, but it would be the sort of thing where I treat myself to something different from my usual performance foc...

Re: Endela All stainless steel
Would be interesting! I don’t have any SS models and the Endela is a good size. My only request would be to use a semi-interesting steel, something funky like k390 or lc200n.
And a wire clip :D
or magnacut…?

Re: AFI Performance Flash Batch
If this came out in Magnacut it certainly would be getting it out into people’s hands. Especially with the lw delica’s price point.
Plus I would use it, extensively.

Is anyone else having issues with the app? I was told to check the app twice this week for details, which never came! I was hopeful for a bit when a "View Now" link showed up under the "New Para Military 2" listing, but only linked to the previous listing images of the "Man...

Re: A Spyderco piercing knife…?
It’s come to my attention that this would be somewhat illegal to have or use. So it’s fair to say this whole idea is a wash, thanks for the feedback! I saw this photo on Serge Panchenko’s insta story just now: https://i.postimg.cc/6T5dJzfJ/444-D07-F0-7-D80-486-A-AD99-5451-BF75-CE9-C.png Everything ...

16-ish knives in 9-ish steels

SG2 is still probably my favorite. Followed closely by LC200N and 3V.

Was gonna make a new post but I figured this worked just as well.
All this time later, the Waterway is still far and away my favorite knife. I use it at every available opportunity just for the heck of it. I really aughta buy a spare one of these days…

Re: A Spyderco piercing knife…?
I mean no offense, but I suggest you do a little research in to what really happens in an animal attack, and what sorts of animals in your area actually pose a threat to humans. The idea of using a dagger to stab an attacking hawk or coyote to death is absolutely ludicrous. These animals are simply...

Considering all these notes, it appears my answer isn’t a piercing knife. It’s the swick. Right…?
