I have not used it rough by any means, but it has been grinded, sanded, soaked, dremeled and a few other things. When I first received my lil native I was happy with it. It felt comfortable in the ...

thats actually pretty cool. you could technically carry most knives without clips and just keep the same slip.

need one for a left hander and sizes.

I'm the opposite. The CBBL is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I think Spyderco should modify all its Compression Lock knives to accommodate the CBBL. PM2 with a CBBL? Now THAT would get my attention!
i agree, and make some that are smaller. para 3 and chap sized.

Re: benchmade mini's

the Hogue Ritter Mini RSK MK1-G2 is one of the nicest small(ish) folders that exists in the market today imo.. I carry that knife quite a bit. I agree with your assessment of it as one of the nicest small folders on the market. Although, I admit that every time I use it, I wish for a Spyderco in th...

Re: benchmade mini's

BladeHQ has some "add to cart to see price" specials on some BM's right now.. you must be logged in to BHQ to see the sale price. There are really good deals on two of the knives in your list! BM makes good knives, but I have to echo Tom's sentiment above.. in my experience, Hogue > BM.. ...

Re: Random guys honest assessment of the Slysz Bowie.

At $400, I’d like a nice machined titanium clip, steel lock bar insert, titanium barrel spacers, M390, original finish on both blade and titanium. i also agree. so glad someone can be honest about value and spydercos. it did finally help me decide not to get it. i was interested in a pits as well b...

Re: What are your thoughts on Spyderco's Peel-ply Carbon Fiber?

i see most want real full carbon fiber instead of a few layers on g10. to me it should not cost but pennies more to do a few layers of carbon fiber on top of g10, even though spyderco charges much more for the difference. the extra cost that spyderco charges for a few layers of carbon fiber on g10 i...
