Re: The Delica 4 K390 SE
Not quite my style of serrations. How does it perform ? In my opinion, these K390 models in SE couldn’t perform any better, including the Endura. The size and shape of the serrations is about perfect for my uses and paired with this steel, these knives as a whole are just on a different level. I’d ...

Re: Edge Retention For a Vanilla Endura?
Get a green compound strop from knives plus. That will help ensure you’re getting rid of any possible burrs.

Have there been any hints of the Endura in this flavor?

Re: Looking help & Advice?
As I was reading your post I was thinking Delica. When you mentioned wharncliffe I started to think salt 2. That will help narrow down your options but still give you several models to pick from. I would also recommend going with serrations and the Sharpmaker.

^yes!
I like them on the grabby side. My first tasmin salt is still nice and “crisp” and it’s almost a pleasant surprise every time I use it.

Re: Smock vs. Sliverax
Sliverax for me but I do envy the Smock's button compression lock, I just absolutely do not want that huge cutout on the blade. I’m in this boat too. I wouldn’t mind trying a button comp lock but the rest of that model doesn’t jive with me. The sliverax is a comfy knife with a unique edge to hand p...

Re: Will 15v become regular production for flagships?
It depends on you, sal Well if the market signal you're looking for is for all the 15V sprints to be instantly sold out, and hard for buyers to find..... You've got your sign. I was going to say the same. I’m not sure what more consumers can do to show we want more BBB 15V. All 3 models have been h...

Re: K390 serration aggressiveness?
I have the Delica and Endura in se k390 and I’d say they are some of the best pocket knives I’ve ever used. The serrations are less aggressive than the serrations on my salt knives but more aggressive than my serrated Ayoob, which I’ve found is the sweet spot for me and leads to a better knife for m...

Re: Crucarta ?
It’s just a nickname people refer to the Cruwear knives with micarta handles. Such as the shaman sprint and the production version of the pm2 in that flavor.

Re: G10 Chamfering, which model has the best?
I agree with you on the Siren. The chamfering is very well done on that model. The recent Ayoob sprint also has some excellent chamfering for the flat feel they were going for. On that model it works out very well.

Re: Spyderco Military 4V DLC St. Nick's Exclusive
If you find the 4V Millie too large or not your cup of tea, just give it time and come back to it later. It’s my favorite large blade Spydie. I will say that I carry my Millie in right rear pocket. I feel it was made for that carry being tip down and a longer handle. That was the final piece to the...

I would assume they’re keeping some for their B&M stores and maybe a few for warranty issues?

Re: Spyderco Amsterdam Meet 2023 Report
I think almost all Spyderco regular production models should come in 3 types of steels: standard like S30V & VG-10, super stainless like H2 & LC200N and tool steel like K390 & CruWear. This is currently happening in mostly the Japanese-made Lightweight FRN models with VG-10, LC200N and ...

Re: And how is your CQI Siren?
I don’t have a CQI version but mine is great and I have no plans to send it in. Personally, I feel the need for a CQI version of this model has been blown out of proportion. ?! I doubt Spyderco spent good money just to smooth the waters of an imagined problem. Spyderco gave me a brand new (CQI’d) S...
