Thanks For the photo Deacon, that helps a lot! The new sprint appears from photos to be all screwed construction. I am going to try to get to GP knives this week so I can look one over. If I like what I see, I'm going to give it a shot. If it works out it will become my new EDC. Having both full len...

Modifying Gray Dyad Sprint for left hand use?

Who owns a gray Dyad Sprint? I need someone to carefully look it over and tell me if it could be disassembled and reassembled so it is left hand friendly. I know it will void the warranty but, that does not matter to me. I have studied the photos on line and it appears that if one were to disassembl...

I think H1 would be a great steel for the Matriarch. I carry mine often and find it very useful for cutting tasks were a serrated edge is needed. I'm in for one!

Marianne, I received mine yesterday and just finished putting them on three of my naked mules. Love the new Micarta ones but, my favorite is the Dymondwood. I put them on my Damascus Mule and they look awesome. Is there any chance of getting the Dymondwood in other colors? I looked the product up on...

I don't have a leaf blade, but do have the orange Wharnie. I carry it a lot for work. It has held up well under some pretty hard use. I may have to see if I can find a leaf blade.

Would any of you say the Lil' Matriarch kinda eliminates the need for a companion leaf blade? If its a good compromise between the hawkbill and regular leaf like billy blade said, I might just go with that. I love VG-10 too. Best steel all-around in my somewhat limited experience. I found it a comp...

I have a Harpy and a lil matriarch. I prefer the lil Matriarch. The reverse S blade is a good compromise between a hawk bill and a regular blade IMHO. I think I saw them on sale at gp knives BTW

plain or serrated? sal Thank you for asking for our input on grind choice. I would purchase either one. Both have their merits depending on the cutting task at hand. For Serrated I would have to vote for H1. Plain edge I vote S30V IMHO. However, setting my personal feeling aside I will leave it up ...

Now that the Swick 3 is here and it sounds as if the Swick 4 with the leaf blade will be coming out soon. Who would be up for a Swick with a Hawk Bill blade? Please chime in maybe we can get get Sal to make us one.

Handle shape is great. Delica/Endura inspired I assume. I agree with gbelleh it could use a little more point on the blade. IMHO more of a Wharncliff than sheepsfoot shape. That said, I would still buy one as is. Great Design.
