Re: Spyderco Chokwe

I don't know of any fake Chokwes but you never know. After comparing my Chokwe with the pictures, I don't see any signs of it being a fake. The knife in the pictures does look like it may have been carried. There appears to be some oil and lint on it so that might be a good negotiating point. If a k...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought

:hot-face Picked up this slightly used 92X at Home Depot yesterday... 92X right.JPG ...in their parking lot, that is. :winking-tongue Came with 3 15 and 3 10 round mags and 2 sets of grips. No 2x4s ? Nice catch Deacon ! The 2x4s probably would have cost more and they don't work nearly as well for s...

Re: Warranty woes

Luckily I have had to contact warranty and repair only once and it was several years ago. I had a similar experience back then. Nobody answered the phone and since I work where there is no phone service most of the time, It was difficult to get a callback. I found that they did respond to email bett...

Done! Doug, thanks for your work on these issues.

FYI, The link would not take me directly to the legislative page but I was able to navigate to it using the menu on the Knife Rights page.

Re: What's your favorite model to OPEN?

Based on the op criteria, the GB1 has s it for me. That low resistance but heavy “clack” of the thick liner is like nothing else. Any compression lock or liner lock done well is also up there, but I feel the GB just reigns supreme when it comes to opening alone. Interestingly enough, IMO, it’s also...

Fewer pictures but a tough choice last week...

Here's my pic for this week...having fun with the family up in the snow searching for a great Christmas tree. The Para3 helped to tidy some rope.

I was asking my dad about what .22 LR pistol I should buy and he said “Don’t buy one just take this.” What a generous man!

S&W Performance Center Model 41

Can’t wait to shoot it.

No Spyderco (nor any other knife) ever made into my pocket today. Even so, my sock drawer also saw no Spyderco.
Good call on the sock drawer! :winking-tongue

For the record, there's a CF S90V Para3 in my pocket. :bug-red-white

Re: Overall disappointed

Just to be clear, I would never store a knife in my sock drawer. Why would I risk getting my knives all sticky? :winking-tongue The proper place for tools, when not in use, is in a toolbox. I had this exact problem as a teenager! BTW, I always equip beer because I can easily afford the -3 in intell...
