Choils and options
One of most used pro-choils argument is that a choil gives you options. So let's see how many use those options.

Agree 100% I wish more knives had it or version of it. I absolute love pocket clips but there are times I wish they were more discrete. Khaki and blue Jean color would be nice too .

Re: "**** the choils, full speed ahead!"
I realy hate choils, and i have a Dragonfly,a Military and a Caly 3.5 :).Wonderful knives, but for me the Endura/Delica are simply knife poetry.I love the Tenacious, too and i think its high time for a steel upgrade, and maybe some titanium scales for that one.

Re: Delica 4 Choil
One argument from the choil-loving community is that a choiled knife provides you with grip choices. But how many of us DONT use the choil on a choiled knife?I think 99% of us will use the choil every single time. The Delica/Endura have theyr fans who will scream bloody murder at the prospect of a ch...

Re: Gripping a choiled knife?
I dont like choils on my knives-except on the DF-but i think that most people will always use the choil. The rearward grip will give you more reach in a SD situation.

I want a Native 6 with a hump,a slimmer handle and without a choil...sure,it will be no longer a Native, and this knife already exists, but i would like such a knife because in love the Native design...

Re: Spyderco Enuff for EDC
Very underrated little knife.I think the reasson why is that few people will carry it as an edc blade-if you carry it openly you will raise some eybrows and if you conceal it you will have a hard time reaching it.And for work around the house, most of us will take a larger blade at this price point.

Re: Should I bother trying one of the Chinese liner locks?
I had a Tenacious and i loved the ergos and the fact that the cutting edge run all the way to the handle, without any choil.Great fit and finish for the money, smooth and everything. However,i sold it because i find it too bulky and heavy and the blade is too broad for some cutting tasks-and when you t...

Re: Byrd Fixed Blade
A love child from the Mule and the Ronin2.Full tang, skeletonized wrapped in paracord, with the option open for custom scales. If it would hit the market at a price of 50-70 $-depending on the steel used- it would sell like crazy and it will not be expensive enough for the ''clonators''.

Re: Meadowlark 2 - different Versions?
I had a frn Meadowlark and i was prety disappointed. It was an ok knife, but it felt cheap-light years away from my beloved Delica. It got lost (or stolen in the gym locker room) and i never felt the need to buy a new one.Until now, when the titanium version came up.Any of guys had that one already?

Re: Why no choil on the Delica?
The choil hype is similar with the jimping hype nowadays. Not every knife needs a choil or jimping. There are plenty of knives with choil and/or jimping and talking about options its nice to have some without, especialy a :spyder: clasic like the Delica.
