Re: Most Noble Order of the Sock Drawer
Greetings, Noble Members! As a general guideline, there usually are no survivors when the Creature from Lake Sinclair attacks. This is because his teeth are large Spyderco blades (some SE). In regards to exercise, I will admit to rising from my recliner and walking around our humble abode seven time...

I bought my P3 LW last November, it has a smooth ramp, and operates nicely.

Re: Most Noble Order of the Sock Drawer
Yes, I agree with #0005, it was a successful day as you still have the knife.
It was perilous, but at least your knife was safely below the "household plumbing" aperture.
Perhaps wear a kilt so as to keep an eye on it?

Re: Most Noble Order of the Sock Drawer
Greetings SG89, and welcome to the Order!
I suggest a simple solution: just put a pair of socks in your knife drawer.
Bingo! You have a sock drawer in the garage

I see a Mule Team knife in the image next to the sticker, but I only see knives with straight spines in the sticker.

Re: Most Noble Order of the Sock Drawer
Greetings, esteemed Members of MNOSD. I must say that the recent comments about spring assisted drawers have caused mirth in my household :) I wonder if we might (voluntarily, of course) describe further the circumstances of our sock drawers? Sort of in the spirit of mentioning our dwelling location...

Lots of good deeds here! We had a new Weber Performer Charcoal Grill, but did not use it that much. Cleaned it up, planning to sell it on Craig’s List, but never got around to it. Our house painter (Jose) did some excellent work for us, so we gave it to him as a tip. It was a win-win, he got a nice ...

Re: Family friendly jokes
A question please:
Are limericks allowed in this thread?
I promise there’s nothing to dread.
“Family friendly” is planned,
So that all understand
That “Nantucket” shall never be said.

I voted for "Mule Team Army", as the best of what was offered in the list. Just "Mule Team" would be fine w/me.
BTW there's other definitions of "army": https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/army
that are not military.

Esteemed Members, the Creature from Lake Sinclair is a giant turtle with Spyderco blades for teeth. The tale starts here: https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=91100&start=580 about five posts down. My avatar is a drone pic, about as close as one wants to get. Yours in service, #0037

Re: Most Noble Order of the Sock Drawer
Welcome to our Noble Order, #0040! It can take some time to improve your knife/sock ratio if they are all going to be Darn Tough. It's interesting that I have not yet encountered the welcoming team...maybe it's due to the Creature? We've lost 14 squires to that fiendish creature while attempting to...

Re: Favorite Lock?
Mid back lock, closely followed by compression lock.
Back lock is smoother opening for me.
I don't have to first overcome the "stickiness" of a detent ball before the blade moves.

I click the link in post #1, then click "Mule Handles", I get the two images, click on the left one, and get the order page.
Whatever product I select, the image changes to that one.
ETA: Thanks to Burly and Bolster for the tech info on Halpern flats!

Re: Most Noble Order of the Sock Drawer

My much-anticipated Darn Tough socks have arrived! They would have been here sooner, but the Creature from Lake Sinclair caus...
