My manix is going to be carried on me, eventually I will clean it, simple as that.

I got 2 new Green USN Black Blades. I got them today then I clean the blade with Tuf Cloth. After awhile one of the Blade change the color as in the Picture.Can anybody tell me is this normal? I like the size of the Manix 2, I wouldn't want it any smaller.

When I do want a smaller knife I carry the Sage! best liner lock I own.

throwing a knife is about as useful as throwing a gun.

I've haven't seen a need for any additional screws on this knife yet. The design was very well thought out. The hardware that holds it together is pretty stout and the liners maintain adequate stiffness. I can understand thinking you need more screws though; that is what every other knife looks lik...

polymer has proven itself to be a dependable and reliable material when made right, and knowing spyderco, they probably did it right

I was actually surprised to notice that there is no fastner at that end. The Manix 2 appears to be held together principally by the pivot screw and the two screws at the pivot end. I'm sure it's secure enough, given the beefy liners, but I think I would have expected at least one more screw? I feel...

I didn't like the 2-tone look of mine - it just didn't fit in w/ the rest of the knife. So I took it apart and sanded the backspacer to a nice brushed finish. I'm not sure what it is but it polished up just like regular stainless steel would. Mine looks much nicer now IMHO... I'm thinking the same ...

does anyone know the what the backspace material on these are, it looked like bead blasted titanium or aluminum.

MY manix 2 CF s90v just came today! and it is probably the shapest folder that I have ever gotten.

Bencmade 950 rift, still my favorite.

what is the knife on top of the blue dodo with the exposed ball bearing lock, I don't remember that one.
