Blade Length opnions?
I was wondering.. Ive seen a few opnions onthe super large folders, most that they are unnecessary.. but.. now that winter is aproaching us, and alot of ppl are wearing heavy clothing, tough nylon coats.. several layers of clothing if different materials and different thinknesses..what do the subscr...

Mundele, There are alot of different rubbing compounds and stroping pastes out there .. you might try using one with a 1000 grit and lighten your blade pressure when you strop. Plus try putting the pastes on the cardboard and placing the cardboard on a hard surface (as opposed to leaving it attached...

Great news ! Thank you Clay for filling me in here. I actually was not much of a fan of the Street bowie design as it was. Too small, too slick, and I kinda felt that the steel was probably pretty cheap since Szabonic never listed too much on what steel was used (Ibelieve i saw 440 SS somewhere)...T...

Whats your edge secrete???
Just for general chit chat... whats your lil "thing" that you do you your knives that gives them that razor edge? Me, I use a peice of carboard like the back of a spiral notebook or the flap off a cardboard box.. and I strop the edge on the cardboard. This gives you a highly polished edge ...

Ya know i was thinking that it would be nice and a statement of security if there was a forum for ppl to sale, trade and buy spydercos here. Expically those that are no longer in production ... and since the knives would be already purchased there would be no underminding of spyderco...naturally it ...

my recomendation to you is 1)wright your city hall and ask specifically for city ordanance on the legal limits and/or restrictions of carrying knives...this prevents you from violating city ordanance yet staying with in the usually more 'loose' state laws.. also by wrighting you get a reply in wrigh...

Just a couple of questions that this thread brought to mind.... I dont mean to sway the topic. Lsaulog mentioned that the Military seems to be more a heavy duty knife... I was wondering does it have a thicker blade? What is it that makes it seem more heavy duty than the Police. Second, Do the knives...

First off.. this is the WRONG place to threaten anyone... there are too many very well trained individules here. Second.. appearently .. that initial statement isnt actually your opnion! You stated that a clerck at a store voiced that opnion. Im guessing that maby you might be new and somewhat impre...
