The SB is, as everyone has said, a wonderful blade. I've had mine for about 4 months and it's the one knife that I carry EVERY day. I did away with the clip and carry it in the sheath with a Mercharness. The sheath seems to be workable for me in that configuration but I'm going to make my own ASAP. ...

Is it time for a new Mule?

I don't know about the rest of you knifenutz but I just LOVE my Mules. Does anyone know (Hello, SAL???) when the next one is due or what exotic stuff it might be made of?
I'm not asking just to be a PITA...I'm running out of blades to apply handle ideas to.

Hi Grumpyphil, Sorry, don't know. We generally don't like to give delivery dates as changes often occur and people get grumpy. ;) When we know they are being delivered, and they make it through QC, we ship. Sometimes we'll give a head's up a few weeks in advance. sal Sal- One cannot ask for more (I...

All of the foregoing was very interesting but the original question was "what is the release date?" My grumpy index is going up by the hour, I've got cash burning a hole in my britches while I'm waiting, every morning I check the New Release thread.
The question remains...WHEN?

I got my Badey one week ago today. I've consistently EDC'd Police knives of various iterations since '84 and this thing has retired them. This is one hellova knife. I'm really interested to see how the Navaha is going to measure up to this thing. Can't wait!

Looking for opinions on Breeden Rescue

Haven't heard anyone mention it yet and was wondering if someone has it and what they think of it.
Thanks for any opinions.

Depends on how you define "greatest". For pure longevity, with minimal changes over the years, the Police would be the winner, hands down. Aside from steel, markings, and a lanyard hole that appeared briefly a couple times, it's been pretty static for 20 years. Not my cup of tea, but you ...

That's interesting too. I wonder how many cowboys actual wore two guns. Aside from Hopalong and the Lone Ranger.
