All of the foregoing was very interesting but the original question was "what is the release date?" My grumpy index is going up by the hour, I've got cash burning a hole in my britches while I'm waiting, every morning I check the New Release thread.

I got my Badey one week ago today. I've consistently EDC'd Police knives of various iterations since '84 and this thing has retired them. This is one hellova knife. I'm really interested to see how the Navaha is going to measure up to this thing. Can't wait!

Haven't heard anyone mention it yet and was wondering if someone has it and what they think of it.

Depends on how you define "greatest". For pure longevity, with minimal changes over the years, the Police would be the winner, hands down. Aside from steel, markings, and a lanyard hole that appeared briefly a couple times, it's been pretty static for 20 years. Not my cup of tea, but you ...
