I know everyone is going nuts over rex45 because it ran 67 hrc - but what's stopping m4 from being run that high? Do the components that allow it to be a hot work steel allow it to achieve a higher hardness?

Still less expensive than buying from an eBay flipper

I disagree. If you are a collector, there is no better time to buy. A few years ago, the k2 got discontinued. They were sell for $100 I think. If you can find one now, they are like $300. Would getting rid of the inlays alone make it a better seller? - the file work kinda help makes it a truer barr knife
