Re: Advantages of VG10 over other premium steels
VG-10 is my favorite stainless. It's so easy to get wicked sharp, and the edge retention is still decent. Touch ups are a breeze, and it responds very well to a strop.

Re: What is your favorite version of the Spyderco ParaMilitary?
Great choice. The M4 Carbon fiber sounds tempting but I struggle with M4 as I like a good stainless steel on my folders. I don't like staining or Patina. I will have to think about that one. I can't say I love the Blurple. I have heard great things about the M390 steel. This may be a direction I go...

Re: HAP40 Dragonfly
In stock at SSK. Thanks for this brother! I though they had all passed me by and I had given up on paying a fair price for one. This keeps my HAP40 set complete. Even SSK's prices are higher than some others (BHQ was like $70?), plus no free shipping :-( Oh well, I'm still glad I got one now. You'r...

Re: spyderco dragonfly 2 question
The G10 version I had was much more stiff than any of my FRN versions. I recommend just using it for a while before tinkering to see if it breaks in on its own.

OH man, this would be amazing! Would also be interesting to see if it was solid (rather than laminated) like the SB Caly.

Re: Burnt Orange Drangonfly 2 lock rock
I understand your issue with the principle of paying the $6 to send it back...but I can tell you this: if you suck it up and fork the money over, you'll likely end up a lot happier than if you return it to BHQ and end up with no HAP40 DF2.

Re: My GB2 is rusting on one side of the blade
I wore my ZDP dragonfly IWB for one session of outdoor basketball that lasted maybe an hour or so. Dried it off after returning home shortly thereafter, but it had already developed small speckles of rust. As someone else suggested, you might have highly corrosive sweat. In my experience it doesn't ...

Re: Hap40 corrosion testing
Thanks for the review/test! Sometimes I feel like my non-stainless blades will corrode into oblivion if I don't constantly wipe them down. Good to know HAP40 can withstand even saltwater exposure without being badly damaged.

Re: Unmarked Millie.
You could always just use it and see how the blade steel performs. If it loses its edge rapidly, that's probably a good indication it's fake.

Re: Foliage Green G10 Delica, Endura and Dragonfly
I'm actually surprised they still make the Dragonfly in G-10. The appeal to me, and I think most people, of the Dfly/Delica/Endura line is how much knife you get packed into a thin, lightweight package. The G-10 variations lose that appeal.

Re: Tough Choice - Outside Opinions?
I say wait for the Jade M4 PM2 from BHQ. You already have a regular PM2, and the GB2 will be available for a while.
