I was iffy on it at first. But as it broke in, I started to love it. And it is now one of the top choices for carry for me. Especially if I am going to be around people that aren't too impressed by knives and often have little freak outs when they appear.

What made you choose 5.11 over Maxpedition?
I have a sling bag from Maxpedition, the Malaga, and it is a great bag but I need something larger. Enough to carry all my daily stuff plus a change of clothes etc.

I need a bigger bag...and I can't decide between the Maxpedition Condor II and the Falcon II. Both are very similar, but for some reason I just can't make a decision. Any opinions?

I think that it would be excellent to see a Spyderco integral folder. My concern would be having the rest of the knife be what I like. I'm getting more and more picky with what I buy these days.

I have occasionally seen the side in your top picture referred to as the "presentation side". Again the majority of makers and users are right handed and so that is the side of the knife that they generally make look pretty.

The original Manixes were much better...IMO. I love those things.
