I find it interesting that the "tester" was demonstrating batoning in a way that is not practical; why not actually try and split wood with it?

I don't know of any other models that are currently planned to use it, but I'd be all for 20CP getting some use in other knives. Maybe a Native 5 sprint (if it's not too early to be thinking about that already :p )? I was just thinking about native sprints, 20CP would be great paired with a new col...

In the past couple years I have noticed a growing popularity for carbon fiber scaled knives and to this day still do not understand the attraction. To me, carbon fiber on a knife such as the ZDP stretch simply looks like black and grey check G10; and on the glossier finish knives like the Sage1 and ...

That's where I got mine from a few years ago. Only problem is they aren't in the easy to open and print jpeg format and are solid black (wasting a lot of ink). Have no fear, as I converted it to an 8"x8" 300DPI outline of the logo (in jpeg format), so it will fit on a normal sheet of pape...

anyone have a .jpg of the Spyderco logo that has worked for them in the past for carving a pumpkin. I'm looking into one that is maybe 7" to 10".

Drop your wife off at the flat iron shopping mall or one of the Denver malls with a freshly charged credit card and you should have a couple of hours to hit the SFO. mine too came with indentations in the G10, havnt had the time to mail it to sfo yet.

I preferred the original FRN model the most and a reincarnation with the same mold would be most attractive to me (hint: not cf :p ), no preference on steel

In short, yes I do. IIRC and if I'm not getting my letters mixed up :rolleyes: , XHP is supposed to be essentially a stainless D2 which is pretty good stuff. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of S30V, although it's definitely a good steel, and I don't think S35VN is going to prove to be very different, but ...
