Where's the Sharpening Sticky?

We need a sticky thread with sharpening instruction, techniques, and tips. I know I could use it. I'm sick of searching, and it IS an essential skill for a knife owner... everyone could use it to some extent, I'm sure. I didn't realize how technical sharpening was until recently, and now I want to k...

Can I find the larger one on ANY websites that aren't based overseas? No luck as of yet. I'm very interested in this knife.

You're gonna love it. :) It feels so awesome in the hand, even with your pinky through the hole in a backhand grip. It seems like very few of the collectors on this forum own a caspian, and I dunno why.

Why they wouldn't and my ex Dream Knife/current

I don't think Spyderco would go through with a design like that due to financial/marketing reasons. The dyad is, while handy for sure (it is a :spyder: ), almost a novelty item. Very few people actually require a PE and a SE separately, I would think, and since the steel is the expensive part of the...

I'm kind of disappointed. Just sheathing and unsheathing my Caspian leaves little tiny scuff marks. Nothing really noticeable to the normal eye, but it's my baby... it's like keying a car. RRRRggg

Start your own thread, hijacker!
I got my Caspian today, and it is SICK. I'm sure I'll start a thread once I take pictures of it.
The dragonfly is on backorder.

Everything else is floating somewhere in the postal ether.

A Tasman Salt. I love the shape of that knife. Hahaha, it would have words allll over it after the forum branding. Also, I think H1 is such a cool steel, and revolutionary at that. What better for a forum knife? (If this salt idea has already been done, forgive my ignorance... I haven't checked out ...

Put in an order. Ooooh, why? It said "in stock" at knife center. Was that a lie?

I'm a fiend now.

I've always loved :spyder: since my uncle got me an Endura when I was about 14. The only serious knife purchase I've made since then was a Benchmade Blackwood mini-Skirmish, and I think the only reason I bought it is the Spydie resemblance. (and a fat x-mas paycheck) Anyways, I've had a resurgence o...

Syderco is in their brand listings, you just have to click the "more brands" button at the bottom of the main list. I think :spyder: deserves a spot on the main list, but whatever.

Great vendor, actually. Low prices and prompt shipping (same day on my order). However, their customer service seems to be automated. I ordered a Caspian dive knife on the ninth at like 2:00 AM and it was shipped later that day. It's in my town right now according to the UPS tracker, and should be i...
