yes i agree with you people that case is good. the only one case i have is the russlock with a vintage bone handle. very pretty. only draw back is that the liner lock is unnaturally large which hurts my index finger during use. anyone knows why, while most makers opt for small liner locks, the russl...

Thanks mate, looking forward to get that new harpy. Forgive my ignorance, what is a David Boye dent? Is it some sort of safety lock in addition to the back lock?

Also, I wonder anyone knows how much it cost...is it any different in looks (except the dent) from the old one?

Thanks guys.

Plain edge SS harpy

Hi people,

Any idea if there is a harpy with ss handles and plain edge? Don't seem to find it on the spyderco site. I have heard that the blade steel has been upgraded to VG-10?

Thanks alot friends.

Hi friends,

Happy new year indeed and I look forward to see more spydies with Chinese style--how about some nice ones with engravings of dragons etc? On bright SS scales perhaps?

Although traditionally these signs could only be found on daggers/swords, it would be nice to see them on folders.

Hi guys, Haven't been in the forum for ages...extremely busy these days. Since the mouse topic is up again, I have something really interesting to add. I got my mouse some months ago, and since then it was my EDC. I usually just stuff it inside my trouses pocket because I don't wear a jean to work. ...

Since I have all my knives stored in my night stand drawer next to the bed, I have EVERYTHING if anyone tries breaking into my flat through the windows...if they want to risk a 22-story fall... But my wife has stopped me placing any of my goodies on top of the night stands long ago to stop me stabbi...

Ummmm....instead of sticking it in a piece of cheese i stuck mine accidentally into my colleague's sandwich the other day when she asked me to use my mouse, just two weeks new from Vince of Bladearts, to cut her sandwich bag open. I have to say that it is one of the best looking and handy little kni...

Well my inlaws surely weren't very approve of my romance with knives. I remember once I gave my wife's brother a (only!) SAK for his birthday because he travels a lot. nothing mean-looking one-hander or automatic, not even a spydie. only a SAK. But that move caused an uproar by my father-in-law, bec...

But is the problem due to the so called phatom lock? its on the left side of the handle isn't it? so if the clip is moved to the left side it couldn't function is that what you mean?

well, then the wife's christmas present goes to me then...

Just one question guys,

I'm trying to get a meekat to my left-handed wife for christmas. Can anyone tell me whether the clip is reversable? I'v never got hold of one but it seems to me it could be unscrewed and be fixed on the left side of the scale. cheers.
