I would really like to try this steel. I would also like to try it in a PM2 or Para 3. Are there any plans to release XHP in either of those models in the future?

I would love a ZDP PM2, but I know it'll never happen.

I would like to see another XHP Paramilitary. I was not really into collecting spydercos when that came out. Maybe a more subte color than orange.

Seeing how XHP is lower carbide and a pretty high carbon stainless, like ZDP, maybe a British Racing Green G10 PM2.

If you haven't tried ZDP189, you probably should. It holds a thin, razor edge for a really long time. I love all of the awesome steels out there - but do I really need anything more than what VG10, S30V, or H1 provides? Seems these three cover all bases for a folding knife. Does it matter? Like most high-carbide steels, S110V will lose that razor sharpness sooner than you'd expect, but keeps a working edge forever.

My M4 PM2 was a razor out of the box. It would shave without catching or making any sound as it did.

I've decided that if I buy any more H1 blades or gardening blades, I'm shoving them in the dirt as soon as it comes out of the package.

I love ZDP. When it comes to really hard, wear resistant steels, it's not as tough as M4, but it gets sharper and stays like a razor longer.
