Re: Am I the only one?
Most of our recycled boxes break down by hand pretty easily. I guess I could start cutting them just for the fun of it. Don't sayvthat to my wife, as far a she is concerned I am just doing what I can for the environment. Well that is what I like to believe although there is a smalll chance she know...

Re: HAP40 Delica and Endura
Screw the lines or the clad steel scratching...it is about getting a solid slab of awesome steel. That way no matter if I choose to make a Jandura out of it or break the tip and have to grind a new one it is solid through out. Sure I can tell how HAP 40 cuts and sharpens but not how it mods or regr...

Re: HAP40 Delica and Endura
Everyone talks about how pre-ordering is detrimental as some websites accept more preorders than the amount of inventory they will receive.

Re: HAP40 Delica and Endura
I suppose cladding in something with such low carbon probably helps to reduce the chance of de-laminating during quenching

Re: HAP40 Delica and Endura
[/quote] I don't think you're in the minority. I think we all did enough crying on the clad Caly 3 and the clad Super Blue Sprint runs and it will not change the final product. I want no cladding, but I will be fine with the clad just to get Hap40 in an Endura. I do have faith that Sal is cladding i...

Re: Optimal hardness for 52100
How about a differentially hardened/tempered blade in the high 60s at the edge and high 50s at the spine?

Re: PM2 S110V question
I think one reason sprints are produced is to test the market; that is to see if people will spend money on the better steels. I think the ongoing interest in s90v Paras, etc. demonstrate to Sal et al that the s110v will sell even if people have the choice of buying one in s30v.

Re: HAP40 Delica and Endura
Hap40 with NO stainless steel cladding seems like it will be as close to perfection for edc as you can get. Hope they drop soon. FIFY! Haha I seem to be in the minorty from what I'm reading. A clad blade is like single malt scotch with soda...you still get the scotch but not as enjoyable as neat sc...

SB Delica
Anybody looking to sell their Super Blue Delica? The only ones I see for sale are collectors pieces and I usually use my knives pretty hard. I would rather buy a used piece with some marks or scratches from somebody looking to sell.
Thanks
