@Doeswhatever: You WILL survive and I am looking forward to reading more posts of yours! :): (I live not too far from Italy, and we see and read a lot how tough and heartbreaking the situation there is. Still: Compared to the number of the entire population, and compared to the number of people who...

Re: I Have a Problem
Welcome to the forum BoydDroid!
I always thought Spyderco knives looked weird too until I began using and carrying them. Now any knife without a big hole in the blade looks weird. :p :D
Let us know what you think of the Manix! That's one model I've never owned before yet.

Re: Advice on delica/endura maintenance
Why can't you disassemble them? Are they the pinned stainless versions? For rough backlocks, I like to put a drop of Nano Oil on the smooth, rounded area of contact between the lockbar and the blade. One drop, a few open and closes, and usually it smooths out dramatically. Nano Oil is great stuff an...

Used my Rescue 3 over the previous week to cut cardboard, cut plastic wrap, peel and cut up apples, and open packages, among other tasks.

Re: Rivers Edge Cutlery Mystery Exclusive (DLC 10V/Coyote Brown G10 Paramilitary 2)
I am going to have a go at this line-up for some basic sisal rope & cardboard tests... PM2 10v Para3 4v Manix2 Rex45 Para3 K390 Manix2 Cruwear ... I don't really have interest in any other steels at this point so I think that's where I'll stop. I will post up some pics & experiences, my bud...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
I have come to the realization that "toughness" is not an ideal quality in a knife steel (for me at least.) What I want is edge strength, not toughness. Yes, Cruwear might be a "tough" steel in that it rolls instead of chips when cutting through electrical wires, but how about M...

Re: Rivers Edge Cutlery Mystery Exclusive (DLC 10V/Coyote Brown G10 Paramilitary 2)
I would not call it complaining... Well, some of us would. I don't really see their approach to the sale as being the reason supplies lasted so long. Plenty of other sellers have limited to 1 or 2 per household, let it be known both satin/dlc versions would be coming, announced the sale ...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
I hear ya Connor, edge strength for hard use working knives is rating higher for me as well as I've been learning more about these steels. I'm annoyed that I haven't done this sooner in my journey, where I would carry a different knife in a different steel everyday and not really learn anything abo...

Re: I don’t always carry a Back Lock...
The Spyderco back lock is one of the best out there to be sure, but it still isn't as good as Cold Steel's TriAd lock. I wish Spyderco would at least incorporate a stop pin in their backlocks. That would eliminate my biggest complaint with backlocks - vertical blade play. My Cold Steel Voyager has ...

Yep, your're right Darby.. already seeing messages from my town DPW about the strain on the sewage system from people flushing things they shouldn't be.. In my junior year of college, my roommates and I (6 of us in an apartment on campus) were too poor to afford alcohol and TP both. The mutual deci...

Re: Has the Coronavirus affected your daily life?
So the whole country is in panic mode and on lock down over this. Here I sit extremely sick with something that has progressed into bronchitis. However, since I haven’t had a fever, haven’t left the country and haven’t been in direct contact with anybody who tested positive I am not a candidate for...
