My condolences to the families of the victims.
D1omedes, there is a sign in the mall where I sometimes see movies that says no gun or knife carrying unless you are an LEO. It might be the same in Colorado.

I only own one Salt, a Dragonfly SE. As far as I'm concerned, it's perfect as a small EDC or beater. I'd like to get a Pacific SE sometime in the future.

That's the one I use! No complaints. In fact, one of the bits is size 9 on one side and size 6 on the other, which covers the screws on both my :spyder: 's. Convenience...

It was here somewhere on the forum. When I bought my Dragonfly Salt SE, I did a lot of research about H1 here. There's a thread somewhere that mentions FFG.

If memory serves, an FFG H1 knife is not practical to make in a factory. H1 work hardens, so by the time one side is ground, it is too hard to grind the second side.

Wait, so then why are G10 and micarta readily available from knife-making supply shops, but FRN isn't? I really like my two FRN Spydies, and I think it would be great to be able to make my own handles out of it.

I'd say that if you can see the inside of the battery, toss it. It's not worth ruining the flashlight over if it leaks. I once repaired the outer coating of a battery with superglue, and it has held up so far, but it's probably not a good idea.

Has anyone tried submerging it in lava yet? I bet that would corrode it :D

If you haven't picked one out yet, I'd recommend the Dragonfly Salt SE. It cuts like a beast and weighs almost nothing.

That's an awesome color, Kona!

I don't know if this counts as a mod, but I cut a choil into my Delica at the base of the edge so I wouldn't scratch the blade as much when I sharpen it.
