Last time when I was in department store I saw quite a few jeans with hole in them. BTW, they were more expensive . Probably this is matter of taste. I do not think that we are talking about corrosion (Fe 3 O 4 ), we are talking about oxidation (Fe 2 O 3 ). On carbon steels oxidation actually will ...

Gold star award to INFRNL ;) :D so what did I win, tell me tell me.......oh it wasn't a contest, darn.... :p I had a good feeling, cause everytime I get mine from Jim, it seems like its a good couple weeks or so till I see them elsewhere. My preorders from Jim are mostly CC's. I have noticed though...

What's with this new 'craze' over patina? Maybe I'm the weirdo, but I just don't care for how it looks. Shows signs of a hard used knife...IDK either. When I see some of the pics posted, it looks like a well aged knife. Doesn't bother me. I do not keep up on my knives like I should, so i will proba...

He probably ordered from Howes; they always get their knives first it seems. I see Howes get knives a good couple weeks earlier than everyone else. I think this is most likely cause they are club collectors. There are probably other cc's from different dealers, so I am not 100% sure, but Howes is my...

I checked that out and thanks for the info again! I think I will get two of the 204P's. Do you think the s35vn brown one for about $124 shipped is over priced? The 204P's are gonna run $146 each with shipping!! Is the measely $22 less make it worth getting one of the s35vn too or do you think for $...

I'm about to pull the trigger on a pre order for this knife. Problem is I'm reading this is going to be available in the Fall? I sure don't think it's prudent to pay now for a knife that won't be made for another 8 months! Any clue that could set me straight? I love Damascus jewelry. Cuts most thin...

This is exactly where I'm at as well. I have been brought up to believe that if I can't do something right then I shouldn't be doing it at all. That's why I have started sending my knives to Spyderco and letting the professionals handle it. When i use my knives, they dull quickly, so I could not af...

lokks like the same material thats on the CF stretch. It is just like G-10 with Cf pattern, but I like it. I did not get in on this. I'd prefer the Para2. I think my XHP millie is enough; not really a big fan of big knives. Congrats to everyone thats getting one though. They are nice, just not my fa...
