D2 forced patina. I have removed quite a bit from the other side, but it is turning out to be quite the ordeal. I think I'm going to just give up and use it. When it starts to look really dark again I will just stonewash it. Does the D2 steel take to this as well as the superblue/m4? Or is it quite...

My handle preference is g10 > cf > frn > wood > s/s, TBH I wouldint look at buying anything s/s handled, and it has put me off from buying certain models I otherwise would have considered, although I rated cf as second, I probably wouldn't buy another unless it is textured, it is a big part of what ...

Since when? I use every single spyderco I have with one hand regardless of lock type, or size of knife. probably not the best way to put it.. of course it can be done, I just find it awkward and it easier to close them with both hands, I guess its more to do with the location of the lock than the l...

In an every day use situation I vote compression lock hands down, find it super easy to use, can open and close the blade one handed and flick the knife out really quickly etc. I am yet to use a ball bearing lock but I dont really like back locks or liner locks, I find them clumsy to use, you have t...

thanks! yeah I came up with that one myself, the other side isint quite as neat unfortunately, as I just fed it around as many times as I could until it was super tight, then cut the ends and melted them flat so they wouldn't pull through, I was going to do the wrap with the fully concealed ends but...

Thanks for the replies, as for jumping in the deep end I dont really have a use for more than one utility knife and the para2 has that covered, so never really been interested in the more average Joe knives like the natives delicas etc. Much prefer anything in g10 im not a fan of the frn handles. Ca...
