I cheat just a little... I just use my father's Gun Blueing oil. It's an 18ml container for about $5 cnd, available at any gun shop. I used the same one for the past 5 yrs and haven't run out yet. It cleans up shavings(from the stone) on any knife, and polishes the blade up nicely. I haven't cleaned...

My method works on small knives, like my delica, since that is what I tested it on. I don't have any larger Spydies to try, but would be willing to test it if I could borrow someones(hint hint)... I have lots of large folders and tend to just grab the spine and flick open the handle on them. I haven...

I haven't used a spydie-egde serration, but end up using the serrated blade on my multi-tool when I need one. Just wondering though... Sal, does Spyderco have any knives about 2-2.5 inches in length with a 60 plain/40 spyderedge? i prefer the smaller blades and am looking at a cricket, but it only c...

I normally carry 2 multi-tools and my Delica, and would love to get a SpydeRench. Haven't gotten one yet, but would love to get one if it came with a sheath. I've lost only a single knife, and it fell out of my pocket about 3 yrs ago. I love the clip but with an active outdoor lifestyle, I had my sp...
