U.S.Army standard field knife ?

To : ALL Having served as an infantryman ( 11Bravo ) I found a sense of emptiness that Uncle Sam never issued us a "field knife" ( i.e. general utility ) as part of our gear. I often wonder which Spydie might have been "up to the task" ? I still love my C 29BK "Cricket"...

To : ALL Having recently received my "Matriarch" and examined it carefully ( VERY SHARP ) I was curious about how it might be employed in self-defense / MBC. I read in 1SKS' on-line catalog that these two ( Civillian / Matriarch ) were created as "back-up's" for Law Enforcement. ...
