Fair point. I thought though that part of the Native 5 was a new pivot...but if they wanted to make it stronger, why not! Oh, I didn't realize that, but yeah, if they want to make it stronger, who am I to argue :) . Like I said, I will but this when it comes out and I will be happy. Everything else...

Voted frame or liner lock. Theoretically I like the comp lock, but I don't like the way it feels opening and closing and 5 of the 8 Paras I've had have been too wiggly for my liking.

Yeah. I mean I would still buy it, but I'll have some Elmax or 3v, please :) .

And if it had a pivot like the Tuff style, I wouldn't cry about it.

New C95?

I remember hearing that there were tentative plans for a new C95 with Native 5 lock improvements.

Anyone know if there's still a chance for this or is it dead now that we have the Manix XL?

I always wanted a 4" folder. Got a couple and sold them off b/c I just felt they were too big. I was never interested in the Military, but I got one the the M4 Sprints b/c it was different and I figured there wouldn't be any others like it. Fell in love. Now it's my favorite Spyder. Carries and...

Well, I would choose a fixed blade, or a shotgun, but the most valuable blade is the one you have on you and the Military is light and carries much smaller than it is. I was just saying that you can choose a knife that's a prybar or you can choose one that will cut...or carry two. Knives make bad de...

I'd go w/ whichever one you feel most comfortable deploying quickly and which ever you'd rather lose to the evidence locker. I doubt you'll cut anyone enough for steel qualities to come into play.

I would open and close it a couple hundred times and see what happens. If it doesn't get better, call Spyderco. I feel like it will work itself out though after the detent ball wears a little path for itself.

My GB came to me used with spots on it. They were slight but no amount of polishing would take them out. Had to have the whole blade reground to make it clean again. My M4 Millie I've had since new and used oil/tuf glide on is gtg. But I still baby them and don't carry them as much b/c of it. Stainl...
