I am in the process of filing my SPOT into a warnie, but I think I am keeping the "beak" on the end, not as stabby, but practical for my purposes. I also dipped the handles(I have 2) in plastidip.
I like the new prototype. Might not need the plastidip. Will certainly be on by buy list.

NJ is not a good place to carry a Civilian, which is partly why I now live in NC. I think the Civilian is defensable to prevent death or grevious bodily harm. The Civilian was made for LEO and designed to be non lethal. My plan is to avoid trouble and stay out of court. I prefer the reach of this bl...

A centofante Pikal?
Picked this up from the good folks at Becks Cutlery. I was taken by the shape and the discussion of Pikal. I think this looks like it would make a good one.
Any one know anything about this knife? Name? when produced?
Thanks

based on the last few months, I would say I am in a perpetual state of head popping! I picked up a SPOT in Dec, took it everywhere, bought another since I heard they were discontinued, went crazy and ordered a Lil temp and Cricket, Wife took the Criket, Ordered a Hary and Catcherman, wife took both,...

I arranged to tour many years ago of the Saco Defence factory in Maine where they make the M-60, M-2 and the auto grenade launcher. How AWESOME to see all the equipment and effort to build these weapons. Chrome plating vats, computer controlled barrel forge, fully automatic barrel straightning machi...

The knife that made you a Spydernut
Was the Native for me. I had a Eudura many years ago but never took to the funny hump for the hole, so the Native changed all that. Straight, smooth and sleek. This got me looking at other Spydies and visiting this forum. Owning Benchmades, Cold Steels and a few Sebenzas I feel that Spyderco is the ...

Yes! Great idea, Sal. Love the warncliff blade. I was so taken by the Spot, I ordered another from the Specials section to back up my EDC. It aslo serves as a back up sheath as I am experimenting with belt mounting at different angles using a tec-loc. Its as sheep friendly as a fixed blade can be an...
