Re: Spyderco Challenge Coin?
I'd be all over this. Sadly I don't know anyone else that is into this hobby like I am enough to carry a challenge coin but I'll carry it anyway :) I'm in the same boat as you. I'd also just like to have one anyway. Most likely I'd get two as I've recently got my 10 year old son into collecting kni...

Re: Spyderco Challenge Coin?
Definitely very cool Sal. I'm also looking forward to the photo's. I'd love to get my hands on a 2015 coin (I know, it's only a prototype) and a 2016 coin if/when available. Thanks for the update!!

Re: Spyderco Challenge Coin?
I usually don't bump such an older thread but I thought I had an original idea until I went searching and stumbled upon this.. I think the interest in a "SpyderCoin" of some sort seemed like it was there. I just wanted to bump this thread to see if there was still an interest of some kind ...

Here's one inspired by LuxN's recent pose. By the way, saw you snag that Jester on BF, you got it quick! Re: Post Pics of your Favorite PAIR of Spydercos!
Thanks! I love it. Took me awhile to find, but it was worth the wait. I reshaped the blade on it by grinding the spine down to more of a point. Now the blade looks like a mini PM2. :Djmh58 wrote:Nice pr/pic there LuxN.. Gotta find me a G-10 Delica.. NICE!! John :)

Re: Delica assistance needed.......
Try soaking just the blade in some Eezox for a little while. I've used it to remove surface rust on a variety of things. It will also help prevent further rusting. I'd advise NOT to use the knife for any food prep though after you have put the Eezox on it.

Do "Collectors Club" knives tend to be worth more/more desirable?
If there were two knives, both exactly the same except one had the "Collectors Club" number/variant stamp on it and the other didnt.. Would one be more desirable years from now over the other? If you guys were buying a knife right now and had to choose between the two, which would you buy?

Re: Delica Torx screw troubles..
I appreciate all the responses. Bunch of great info givin out by you guys. Looks like everyone so far can pretty much agree that Wiha is the way to go in terms of Torx drivers/bits. I agree also, they have been problem free up until this point. Just seems to me the T6 Torx screw openings are actuall...

Delica Torx screw troubles..
Ok, I have bought two different brands of Torx drivers/bits and have ran into the same problem on both. The Torx screws on the clip and on the scales are all size "T6" except for the pivot screw which is T8. The T8 bits on both of my sets fit perfectly into the pivot screw with no wiggle r...

Re: If you could bring one discontinued Spyderco back?
Wow, this took off! So the current discontinued folders that are leading seem to be (in no particular order, they have between 3 to 4 votes each so far) the Caly 3.5 in Super Blue, Rock Lobster, Breeden Rescue, Centofante 4, and the Lum Tanto Folder. I've been planning on getting a Caly 3.5 in VG-1...

First Choice: Caly 3.5 Super Blue.. Second Choice: Caly 3 VG10 Hey I'm a lover of the entire Calypso line myself>> so don't forget the C-54 Calypso which was the first original Calypso ever made>> I think it was also the very first folder Spyderco made with VG-10 blade steel. And I'm really surpris...
