Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
So, this is the first run of the Para 3 Cruwear from 2017. It hasn't seen the light of day in probably 4 years. I generally grab the Native 5 or Caly 3 when I want a small knife. The Para 3 Maxamet from the seconds sale couple years ago brought the model back into regular rotation for me. A more com...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Thanks alot, AWT enablers. How much more will this cost me?
These do change the feel of the knife quite a bit. In a good way.

Re: I’m an indecisive giant. Millie vs Chief!
I just realized that I have somewhat lost interest in the Chief. Haven't used it in a while. Time to change that. I generally don't EDC a large knife. But when I do, which is primarily outdoors, ergonomics trump carriability, lock type, or materials. Military, with its more filling handle, the softe...

Re: Looking to get my first Spyderco
Big fan of the compression lock and camping here. Can't go wrong with PM2. Other than loosing one, it has never failed me for any tasks. Although lately, the Shaman took over the campsite duty. I would agree that the Sage is a better EDC overall. If you can swing it, Sage for EDC, Military for campi...

Re: Para 3 Lovefest, Where Did It Go?
Even if no direct hate, certainly not much love for it. I got the original S30V model when it was first released. This was after I already had the Military and PM2. It fit that lineup well. I found it to be useful during my home remodeling at the time, as the small size allows you to have great tip ...

Re: Clip Screw Question
Have you tried to put the screws in the desired position without the clip? All three holes?
If they don't grab without the clip, then the liner is stirpped. That would be unfortunate.

Re: "hard use"
Concerning the tip thing. I have never snapped the tip off on any of my Spyderco knives. And I am not shy about sticking a knife into wood, forced or thrown. Most of the tip damage in my cases (less than a handfull) have been at the very tip of the blade. More like the tip of the edge, not necessari...

Re: enuff 2!!!
I just noticed, as I received the email notification of it shipping. I pre-ordered this knife back in January for $168. Checking on it today, it goes for $224. That's quite a jump. And, I would probably think twice about ordering it at the new price. Anyways, looking forward to it. Going camping nex...

Re: Why is the PM2 more popular when the Manix 2 is objectively better?
If you let a status of an object dictate your choices, both for or against, it is what it is. On the other hand, some things are popular for the right reason, as I believe is the case with the PM2. Blade shape, as it pertains to these two models, make no difference to me for my uses. Same with weigh...

Re: First Spyderco in 2023
A better question is, what is going to be my 'second' Spyderco of 2023?
Edit: Just remembered. K390 Enuff is on preorder. I guess these three should keep me bussy for a while.

Wow. Completely spaced on this one. That’s ok, my REX45 has been good to me.
Should they do the military 2 in this combo, I’ll pay closer attention.

Re: CPM 15V PM2
I think I got one from BladeOps - order confirmed, card charged. It was available some 6 minutes after Abba posted in the alert thread. Thanks! Wasn't planning on getting one, wasn't actively trying, but on the other hand, it is a PM2. And you know me... I believe GPKnives hasn't dropped yet, so I'd...
