Just another image with some older clip point / upswept blades that seem to have fallen out of favour ...
I’m just wondering what the knife in the middle is. It looks a lot like a Native Chief. 🤔

It's easy and cheap to replace them yourself, for what that's worth. I do it on all of mine.

Re: Bring Back Spyderench!

I voted no. I had a Spyderench and Byrdwrench and sold them both just because I don't find I need a crescent wrench enough, while standard plyers come in handy a lot. A Spyderco with plyers would go on my buy list though.

Re: Spyderco hardware origin.

Agreed about the quality of the torx screws. I genuinely enjoy my Spyderco fanboy life, but I think this is a criticism they should take note of as it is quite possibly the weakest link in their otherwise amazing product. One other link. Spyderco charges for clips, and clip screws like we tried to ...

Re: 5x5 Combat Solutions Update

I could live happily for 1000 lifetimes without the wave hooks and karambit rings, but that Delica back spacer deep carry clip is a cool idea and I might be into that for other models depending on how they turned out. Just don't get the deep carry clip version. They didn't design the clip to land o...

Re: Customer Support Question

Spyderco customer support offering anything to a customer who disassembled or broke anything is actually a step above what history shows you should expect. I agree with Albertaboyscott you should feel lucky they offered the coupon because it's unexpected and rare to get offered anything in your situ...

Re: Ti Framelock vs Liner Lock

Yes people get confused because of that the thicker part of the titanium. What they actually want is the illusion of strength. Spyderco has two models that brought out the difference between what people think and actuality when it comes to framelocks. The more relevant is the frame lock Military. It...

Re: Somebody tell Seki City to knock down the edge of the Spydie Hole

I remember reading somewhere that far fewer of the younger generation in Seki are interested in or willing to enter the knife-making industry, instead preferring to enter other types of careers. If true, could that possibly be a factor in some of the QC lapses that people are noticing? If it were m...

Re: New Spyderco Paysan CQI: defective & disappointing

I bought one of these https://usaknifemaker.com/carbidizer-tung-carb-by-bebe-carbidizer.html a bit over a decade ago (they were in the low $200s at the time). It's not the cheapest option, but I haven't had to worry about lock stick ever again. For anyone in the hobby the long term, I'd say it's wor...
