Spyderco straight razor?

Does Spyderco have any plans for making a straight razor? The reason I ask is that I shave my head occasionally during the summer, and I've been thinking of trying a straight razor.

I would like to see the Stainless Steel Rescue(C14S)reissued. I seem to be the minority, but I like the sheepfoot blade. I'm not fire or EMT personnel. I just think it is a good blade style for daily carry. Also, I've noticed that fewer people are nervous about the sheepfoot blade as compared to one...

CPM440V comes in first, with ATS-55 coming in a close second. I think these are both good working steels. I've never had a problem with either rusting or pitting.

Congrats Springer. I'm envious, but luck, like lightning, rarely strikes the same place (or in this case, person) twice.

Just an idea

How about either downloadable movies or streaming video off the Spyderco website of the various different opening and closing techniques. It might be nice for people unfamilar with the one-hand opening method considering a Spyderco.

John,
I believe capeing is when they skin most of the deer (or elk!), but they stop just at the base of the neck. The reason for this is if you want to mount the deer head, the taxidermist has to skin the neck and head.

Little help??

Once again, I've waited until Spyderco discontinued a model before I decided I wanted it. Or is that the other way around? Seriously, I'm trying to find a SS Rescue(C14S) and a SS Rescue Jr.(C45S). I would also like a orange Rescue Jr. I was hoping I could find a site that has all three, but so far ...

Hey, I think I emailed you before asking about a Mariner/Rescue wallpaper. The only way it will really work is if the pic is exactly the same as the pics on the Spyderco webpage. I don't mean to sound picky. I have worked out a couple possibilities, but my original idea just won't work. Thanks

I would take a look at the Dyad or Dyad Jr. Seems like it would make a good daily use knife.

What i'm looking for is a picture of the SS handled Rescue set up the same way as the photos on the Spyderco webpage. Joyce sent me some photos but i'm having trouble getting them to incorporate into the design.

Looking for pic of stainless steel Rescue

I'm working on a desktop background for my computer and need a picture of the Stainless Steel Rescue. I know it was discontinued, but I thought there might be some way of getting the picture. To work, the picture would have to be a jpeg, 250x200, set up the same way the picture of the FRN Rescue is ...

I'll see if I can find a website. I've already looked, but maybe the info will be up by now. Thanks Sal. I hope to make it. I'll get a chance to meet all the other Spyderco-crazy people.

Question about NY knife show-entry fee?

Just curious how much it costs to get into the show. Also, will you guys be selling anything at the show(Hats, shirts, coffee mugs, etc...)?

Question for Sal about NY Knife Show.

I heard you might be at the show in November. I live in upstate NY and will try to make it. I'd like to meet you and was wondering if it would be alright to introduce myself. I've been carrying Spyderco since 1996, so i'm still kind of a newbie. Thanks, Carson Jones

Well, when the Spyderench first came out, I really wanted one. My only concern was the fact that it was brand new and that it was a new area for Spyderco. The fact that they were hard to get ahold of didn't help either. To date, I still have not purchased a Spyderench, though a friend of mine just p...
