Your photo's certainly look proffesional to me. I'd never even considered the Terzuola before but your pictures are making me think about getting one :D

I'm liking the look of it, but as markg said, the clip just looks bolted on as an after thought. Looks a little out of place with the rest of the knife.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The G10 was about three times the thickness of the original scales so the grooves could go pretty deep.
I do have a steady(ish) hand but it was close a couple of times. I was also covered in dust when finished (yes I wear a mask ;) )

The cutout looks like this now,

Mine are similar but not that regimented.

Pimped Persistence

I've put this in the show your mods thread. But I think it's the best mod I've done yet so I'm showing off by giving it its own thread :D Groovy green G10 with a G10 back spacer... http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/ab54/Badgerbush666/051-3.jpg http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/ab54/Badgerbush666/0...

My first Persistence rescaling. Carved up green G10 with a back spacer made from some left over camo G10. Shout out to Sharp Guitarist who inspired me to do a backspacer when I saw his Tenacious rescale. http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/ab54/Badgerbush666/051-3.jpg http://i849.photobucket.com/albu...

I've never seen that cutout either. Looks in perfect condition too. Hold on to it, probably pretty collectable.

@ Bushbadger: You and I have similar taste. I 'll get a picture up of mine soon. I EDC a Romisen RC-N3 II, and I almost pulled the trigger on those same exact flashlight models of yours. How does that little Romisen stack up to the fenix or other flashlights you have (I assume you have others :) ) ...

You could also give fleabay a look. I've done quite a few rescales with G10 and usually buy it from an ebay seller called canmanstan. You'll also find plenty of stabilized wood and micarta on ebay too, plus mosaic pins, rivets etc...

Thanks for the compliments guys :) I think with G10 being a fibrous material the dye soaks through (I could be wrong) So far no dye has come off and doesn't look like it will. I've dyed micarta before and that dyes straight into the material.

Green Rift

This is currently the only Benchmade I own, I've had others but sold them (obviously to fund more Spydercos ;) ). The Rift I wanted to hang on to because it's ugly and beautiful all at the same time. I can't help myself from messing about with knives so this one got a dunking in green Rit dye :D htt...
