Re: For those looking for BIG folders…

Neither, the Tatanka is too big and the K2 has tip down one screw pocket clip.

I'm currently reading A Matter of Days by Hugh Ross. For anyone reading Christian books let me know and I can give you some really good suggestions.

Re: Gout?

I've been lucky because my Dad had episodes all the time and so did a co worker. I always heard it was from eating too much meat. You might want to try a mostly vegetarian diet for a while. My Dad also had a horrible case of Shingles and that s why I got a shingles vaccine a couple of years ago. It ...

Re: Wisdom tooth extraction: Ouch! Anyone else had it done?

I had one extracted and there was nothing to it. The Dentist who did it is wonderful. He said a short prayer loaded me up with shots cut the tooth in half and brought it out one leg at a time. One of the smoothest procedures I have ever had

Re: Pocket Pistols

Safety first, but allow me to pose a hypothetical. What if a person has been injured or is holding off an attacker with one hand, how is the person going to rack the slide to chamber a round? Here is a recent article on the topic from the NRA American Rifleman . Now, to answer your question. There ...

Re: Pocket Pistols

I hate to tell whoever wrote this article but a double action revolver can be the most dangerous thing of all. That's how my Friend almost lost his leg. He was carrying a .357 Magnum in a holster on his right hip and all he did was bump the hammer with his rifle stock sending a hot 158 grain hollow ...

Re: Pocket Pistols

Its like this. I would rather carry my Glock 43 loose in the document pocket of my 511 Tactical shirt with empty chamber and trigger down where I know beyond any doubt that its totally safe. Then, spend that first one to two seconds chambering a round rather than trying to draw from some pocket hols...

Re: Pocket Pistols

Trust me you'll find a way. I personally know of two who have either shot themselves or someone else carrying a live round in the chamber. If you could see the scar on one Guys leg four inches in diameter after numerous surgeries and skin grafts I think you would agree that any civilian who carries ...

Re: Folders and food

Not something you would do all the time but can be a memory that lasts a life time. A Friend and I packed a picnic basket several years ago and went to Horse Shoe Bend Alabama. After a hike over the entire site we were about starved. On the way out of the are we came across a little country Church m...

Re: Pocket Pistols

The best thing to do is order you a 511 Tactical shirt that has the hidden vertical document pockets with Velcro closures in every color if you're like me and wear jeans all the time. These shirts are very stylish, durable and the more you wash them the better they look. I call this the worlds most ...

Re: Katz Knives

I had been looking at the Kagemuska with Ivory Micarta handles but at 64 years old and having fooled around with knives for well over 55 years owning several thousand and every one I ever saw that I wanted I always put lots of research into a new knife.I read the adds, everything on all the knife fo...

Re: Chris Reeve Professional Soldier?

No way I would even think about that one. Looks too much like that big old blocky thing Bench made makes in a folder. The way to test a knife is pick it and squeeze it with your hand as hard as possible for a minute or so and see how many places on your hand are killing you
