Thanks everyone-I sure will enjoy this knife a long time. And Cogito, it's really heavy in the pocket at a whopping 6.5 oz. But I don't plan on carrying it, so what does it matter? :)

I found it.. Most likely just a NRS (National Ropers Supply) delica with custom scales.

Sorry I know nothing about sharpening but for the record you're not going to get many responses at 6 am on a Friday. Now if this thread stays at the top until this evening when everyone is home from work you'll get some answers.

I just had an interesting thought... Speaking of wharnies, imagine a flipper Mantra 3 with a slightly smaller Yo2 blade and a functional hole. I'm just imagining what that would look like and the dent it would make on my pocket...
