Re: I wish the Endura was US made.

Honesty.. I can't tell a difference between us and Japan models. Quality is outstanding.

Re: I wish the Endura was US made.

I have my 3 Endura coming today. (Gave the first two away to friends because they had not idea what a good knife was). I can't wait. Haven't held one in almost a year.

Both of those knives have pretty thin stock so I think I would be pretty easy to get an edge. You should be able to shave hair using just the brown rods so if you can't get it sharp going through all the stones then your problem is your not meeting the apex with the brown stones before moving on. Wo...

The delica by far is the best EDC on the market. Period.. Still trying to figure out why I don't have on anymore.

I have the lower grit edge down pretty solid...I can take most knives from dull to sharp in 5 minutes or less, including set up time. It helps that I sharpen almost all my knives at the same angle, so the only thing that needs set up on the EP is the table and stop plate, so I just line the edge up...

I got rid of the EP because i felt like I had to put on that perfect edge all the time. My edges are sharp but not always pretty anymore. My last two knives I sharpened didn't make it past 180 grit. You have to find the balance between time and function.

Hmmm. Design is pretty simple, but their appearance doesn't impress me. Not sure what it is, since I am a big fan of wood grips/handles, and simple designs. Not too sure about the durability of them though... Can't argue with the price on those things either. I'm kind of interested in them... not s...

I'd have told him "The earth would be better off with fifty percent fewer people on it, if even one child starves due to my knife purchase, I did the earth a favor". I'm guessing no one here donates all their extra money to the hungry but using the words child and starving in the same sen...

Main reason why you won't find anything with an exotic blade steel in my BOB. The larger version of the Gerber LST being a good example. (Simple steel that can be resharpened on pretty much any coarse rock with one flat surface.) I love my Spydercos, but I'm not even going to attempt to improvise-s...
