Kapara???

So what's up with the kapara? I've been interested in it sense it has been released, I just haven't seen one in person or heard much talk about it?
It seems like a good knife that doesn't get much love

Re: Why Don't You Like Framelocks?

I'd also like to say I prefer steel lock bar inserts, alot of people have had problems with them, but I still like them, even battoning with them I haven't had them fail

Re: Why Don't You Like Framelocks?

I'd say it's a matter of preference honestly, but my opinion is a well made frame lock is just as good as any other lock, I've only had liner locks fail on my from battoning, I also disagree with others, I've been able to close frame locks and comp locks left handed no problem at all, tho I don't pr...

Re: Delica & Tasman blade swap

If they can be taken apart it would be easy enough to try, but if they are pinned not sure it's worth the risk until someone who has tried it or sal can chime in, I'd like to know how it goes if you do try

Re: Spyderco on Amazon

I have had nothing but good luck with amazon, but everything everyone says is true, it is a risk, and I would advise going through a major knife retailer with any knife purchase.
Amazon gets alot of returns, which they may not even examine if it's real or used or may not even know better

Re: Para won't stay sharp

There is alot of play in the slots on the lansky guided system, I've found that once you have apexed while holding the rods inward most part of the slots, start again with the highest grit stone you have on the outward most part of the slots removing the Burr. That has been the best way I can remove...

Re: Compression Lock Millie?

I recently have been thinking about a purchase of a military, but I change my mind due to having owned a pm2 first, I've always liked the subtle details that make the pm2 better that always make me change my mind, that and I like the comp lock, if they were to make a pm2 xl I'd definitely buy one or...

Re: Compression Lock Millie?

Tho I like the liner lock and compression lock, I prefer the comp lock, and have had zero problems with it (tho I'm not sure which is stronger, this is my opinion) If they made a military with pm2 specs and a comp lock I'd like it, and personally I would buy it, tho I'm not sure if any kind of chang...

Re: VTOKU Sprint Run

I've been loving how my vtoku2 performs, it has definitely exceeded what I thought it was capable of in edge retention and edge stability, it has made me a believer, and I also think it's under rated compared to super blue, which are both great steels

Re: Police4 FRN ETA

I am wondering if the frn p4 would be able to be taken apart, I've been seeing newer frn models of other knives with screws, so it leads me to wonder if I could swap blades from an frn p4 to a g10 or vise versa, sense sal has said there will be different steels used on the frn p4 then the k390 used ...

Microbevel and what angle is best

I'd like to know who uses a microbevel, if you think it's beneficial, and also what angle do you increase to; to get the best benefit from a microbevel?
Ex: if your edge is 15° inclusive, what would you increase the microbevel to? 17°/18°/20°/22° inclusive?
Thanks for your time ^.^

Tackle cases with the interchangeable slots, cheap but effective, keep dust off em when I'm not using them

Re: Police 4 Observations

K390 I'd assume to be harder then s110v, and less prone to edge chipping, one thing about s30v and s110v is they loose their razor sharpness quickly, but hold that working edge for along time, s110v ofc much longer then s30v, but k390 holds a razor edge for a long time and seems to keep the working ...

Re: Police 4 Observations

Incorrect about not being able to spydie flick (middle finger flick) the police 4, I flick it open zero problem, tho it has a lock back, it is a very smooth knife, and k390 vs s110v, k390 isn't stainless while s110v is, but k390 stay sharper longer and holds a razor sharp edge alot longer, and id ha...

Re: Spyderco p4 praise

T-1000, I guess what sal just said ^^ the frn police will not only have k390 steel, but stainless variations! Also very good to know sal and I think is the right choice as it seems it will probably have different price points and also make people happy by having more steel variations, as I expected ...
