Hey, it takes a lot to apologize. I haven't been here for a while so I don't know the exact details, but this forum has been very friendly in the past. All I can say is to keep it that way. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and they may not always be right, but at least try to respect that. Get...

It's good to be back

My computer was down for a while and then once it was fixed, I was on other forums and haven't been around here lately, and I just wanted to say that it's good to be back. Only one new knife since I was gone, a CRKT Stiff K.I.S.S. serrated, and I'm very pleased with it. Great buy for the money, alth...

Photons make great zipper pulls and are great for finding keyholes in the dark, but I wouldn't use it for anything else. Increadibly bright for its size.

If you must knife-sturbate VW, try carrying a trainer. I know it's not the same, but at least it's better that nothing.(Nothing against trainers )Some people would probably wonder why you had a knife with no edge and a red handle, but I...

When I buy a knife, quality and reputation are the main things I look for. Blade steel comes next, then ergonomics and price. I can get over it if the knife doesn't look good( unless it's for a collection and won't be carried ) because after carrying it for a month, it won't look that good anyway. T...

Welcome to the forum. A good Spydie knockoff? That's something I have yet to see. ( I have seen some that say "Benchmade" on them )

80L, read the post "sal-spyderco history". Clay quotes the Spyderco Story" explaining the spyderbug logo and name.

80L, you might want to get the model 204 shaarpmaker- It will sharpen virtually anything, but it just depends on your preference.

Hi dtp9. Welcome to the forum . I would suggest a Calypso Jr. Lightweight(FRN). The knife fits in your hand very well and VG-10 is rust resistant and will hold an edge very well. The Delica and Native are great knives too. If you get one...

Spydie "knockoffs"

Don't you just hate 'em? If they are going to try and copy Spyderco, couldn't they at least do a better job? I feel sorry for anyone who would buy a knife like that just because it costs $5. No other knife can come close to a Spyderco. What really burns me up is when people say "look at my Spyd...
