Re: Slipit Design Flaw?
Thanks @Liquid Cobra, I can see how that would work, but I was trying to avoid voiding the warranty. More importantly I don''t feel I should have to void Spyderco's warranty for something they designed to be adjusted by the user. I was hoping I was missing something but my only conclusion is that th...

@Liquid Cobra,
Thanks for the encouragement. Unfortunately, encouragement without tips won't get my knife back together.

@The Deacon,
Unfortunately it's too late for such maneuvers since I've already removed both clip screws. Thanks for the tip though.

Re: Comfortable carry of full size folder (i.e. Military) running or at the gym
Hmmm... any idea if a Ruger LCP (or even say a somewhat lighter Kel-Tec P32) would work in one of the pockets, with the Military or Pac Salt in the other pocket? I'm just resistant to the big 5.11 gun rig, tho i guess I should try it... they claim you can run with a G19. Thanks! Dan Since it's a st...

Slipit Design Flaw?
I was excited to recently find and buy a used Urban Leaf. However, as a lefty I had to switch the pocket clip which I mistakenly assumed was easily done by the end user. Since the back spring is held under tension by the pocket clip screw, once it's removed the hole is no longer lined up and it seem...

Re: Comfortable carry of full size folder (i.e. Military) running or at the gym
@m6steen Now that sounds excellent... no zipper, easy access. I'd looked at the Flipbelt on amazon, but hadn't gotten one yet. How do you like it? and is it waterproof? Thanks! Dan It's great for me running on roads or trails. I have a small which fits my ~30" waist well. It's made of a synthe...

Re: C36 Military left handed?
I tried the RH version of the Military but decided that it was too difficult (for me) to operate and thus settled on the LH version which is without a doubt the perfect knife (again for me). Another issue to consider is that because of its shape, the RH version may not carry as well on your left sid...

I wear a FlipBelt for a phone, keys, and Military while running. It's a 3.5" wide tube made of a synthetic stretch material with four slots for inserting items. My Military can be clipped horizontally into one of the slots for easy access, no zippers.

Re: If you could only keep three...
The CTS 204P Para seems to be one of the favorites here and might be on my list if I could get the one I got at the seconds sale adjusted right. However, the BBL on the Manix is a little more left-friendly.

2. Military S30V Left Hand (backup)

Re: 2014 Spyderco Factory Seconds Sale
This was my first time going to the SFSS and I'm really hoping there's one next year before I leave Colorado. I showed up around 0630 and felt like I was at the end of the first wave - not too many others showed up until close to/after opening time at 0800. By the time I got my basket around 1000 th...

Nice work and score - I was watching that one on the Bay. Being a lefty, I'm glad I waited to score the LH version soon after this one ended. They're amazing knives!

One difference I've noticed between the G10 Endura 4 and a newer FRN Endura 4 is the blade shape. The older G10 version had more of a belly than the newer FRN which I think can be seen in your photo. Maybe this was part of Spyderco's CQI or maybe it was cost savings change, either way I prefer the o...
