Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
Changing the lock is a calculated risk, there are a lot of loyalists but it's safe to say the Compression Lock has a solid following so even if we only assume that there's equal popularity for both locks, the change in locks shouldn't hurt sales, and I suspect it'll be quite the opposite. I think t...

Hangin' out with my beloved Spyderco Amalgam on a 100F+ Arizona summer day. I no longer live at that house, but I still have the knife. A good knife, and lots of memories.

Re: A separate brand for Titanium knives from Spyderco ?
I think splitting the Spyderco brand into multiple different brands for different handle materials would weaken the brand overall. Right now, Spyderco == a cool variety of innovative designs as well as classics, with generally good quality fit and finish, produced from a huge array of different mate...

Are you looking at the new forums, or the recovered/archived forums?Stuart Ackerman wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 2:36 pmI am a Moderator at the new site, but I seldom go there...
I will change that, methinks?
As a Mod, I can see newer posts...

Has there been any progress on locating and archiving this portion of his forum? It sounds like a very interesting read and it sounds like enthusiasts owe this man a large debt of gratitude. I hope it, and the whole forum, still exists. Thanks. It exists! Direct link to the recovered/archived forum...

That's a beautiful knife. I'm a big fan of the Rescues. Yeah, the Rescues are super cool. I have this one, and a newer version shaped similarly to the Atlantic Salt, and a Byrd Cara Cara Rescue, and I like all of them very much. The v1 Rescue has one of the most ergonomic handles I've experienced o...

That is REALLY good!!!👏👊 Thanks man, it's a cool old knife for sure! ;) And pretty interesting to try to draw, because of all the contouring on the reverse side, and the cutout in the handle, and etc. A neat piece of Spyderco history. :bug-red-white I got the number of little squares in the handle ...
