Yeah, most of the forumites agreed with Sal that the over-strike test is not something that would happen during normal (read: proper) use of the knife. The fact that they fixed the problem anyway just goes to show how great a company Spyderco is.

The glare is annoying. I went from a very thin trashbag diffuser to the flexable type with a weave pattern. It didn't help. The bulp is a 60wastt twisty evergy saver so its not toooo bright. Nice work! A suggestion: some of your photos have a bit of glare; you might consider trying a less intense light, or using more diffusers/plastic bags. :)

Other than that, those are some very nice, well-lit pictures.

There are some great responses already, most of which are key to making a proper edge. Here's a couple suggestions of mine: Make sure you apply a slight, even pressure while sharpening Don't let your knives get dull; sharpen them when it feels like they are loosing that bite when you thumb the edge....

If you want a super thin wallet, I highly suggest checking out Big Skinny wallets. I have their leather-hybrid bifold model, and I love it! It's super thin, and so far has be very durable. I'd suggest one of the small card cases for your needs.

Hi Simsmac, Most of the comments made should give you a good idea. It's difficult to machine and also must be surface ground. It's not a tough as G-10.
