Re: Mystery Knife Center exclusive coming 6/23 (S90V/burlap micarta Shaman)

s90v has held up pretty well on the CF version. Still the prettiest handles on a shaman to date...

i like froglube for removal of mild corrosion, but for prevention, EDCi has worked better.

Re: Chaparral slip-it on its way

I reckon simple covers could be nice, but if they do something similar to the one-eyed jack, that would certainly get a lot of people on board.

Re: What’s The Hold-Up with Magna-Cut?

I reckon a lot is stacked up behind the Golden expansion. Hard to keep production capacity from gapping when you're actively upgrading.

Re: why do I feel like the chaparral isn't for hard use?

The only thing about the chap that’s not intended for hard use is the handle, and that’s not because it’s not made well, it just doesn’t fill the hand.

Put the chap blade in a shaman handle and I’ll cut anything all day with it; the blade stock is plenty tough enough.

Re: Native 5 LW scales (WIP)

A very cool project. I have a naive question - since this design is done from scratch - why not make the handle a little more ergonomic with some 3D contouring? I mean with a 3D print the sky is the limit. Thanks, I'm still working on it. I'm self taught and the contouring is the biggest challenge ...

Re: Relics of the past

the stuff that's stuck around generally has something to recommend it. I find I'm getting far more open to modding and personalization with knives that have been with me for a while.

Re: Shaman QC feedback

I've noticed the stop pin surface corrosion on the scale penetration face as well. So far it's been easy to clean off and hasn't affected performance.

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

Mushroom and anybody else that lives in New England, what is CruWear like from a corrosion resistance point of view? I'm excited about this sprint but nervous about rust. My apartment has no A/C so the window is open a lot, especially during the humid summers (not that it does me much good). Is rus...
