grind it yourself and leave it in your car or tool bag as a beater In the process of doing so ;) . I think I m going for a modified sheep's foot sort of look. I may call it a calves foot because its so small, lol. It will work for something. Perhaps opening packages where I do not want to cut too d...

You messed it up. I doubt it's the fault of ZDP-189. Any knife that lands tip first on concrete isn't going to fair too well. They don't send out blades. They will repair it for a $20 fee I believe but it's not going to be the same length. I think they will regrind it to a point again (maybe). Buy ...

This thing is definitely beyond repair... I could regrind it myself, wouldnt be hard at all. 1/3 of the blade has cracked off practically though. If they cant replace the whole blade, im not wasting the money. Thats kinda screwed up...

LOL, Im glad for this thread, I was going to start my own Blood story thread, but this way Im not the OP, so its not as embarrassing! This one happened last week. I just got my M390 mule, came RAZOR sharp. I cut up a whole box of cardboard, took it to my arm, still shaved hair. This had me excited! ...

Just broke my ZDP Dragonfly...

:( I just knocked my dragonfly off my porch, and unluckily it landed right on the tip on concrete. The tip broke, and is too large to repair/ignore. I dont believe this is the ZDP's fault, any steel would not have fared well... Would spyderco be willing to send me a replacement blade? or would I hav...

Still loving the knife, hating the fact that I can't put it down! Love the clicking noise it makes when you slide the blade out. Any suggestions for a new knife? Thought it was silly when someone a page back said something about looking for another knife but I think I'm becoming a bit of a collecto...

Is that dude a mute? If you ever needed a reason not to buy a fake, there you go... Clearly this dude has no taste in knives, come on, did you see that awfully designed flipper? I also dont know why Smith continues to put their name on second rate chinese BS knives, instead of creating decent blades...

I have a 4 Sevens Preon 1. It uses one AAA battery, and it is TINY. I clip it to the edge of my civilian labs (http://www.civilianlab.com/) Clip wallet. When the wallet is clipped on my left front pocket, the preon is always incredibly easy and fast to access. It does everything you need for EDC.

I second the cheapy hardware store idea. And if not that, I WOULD buy the chicago, or a similarly legal knife. No one plans to run into the cops. It could potentially save you a lot of cash and headaches. Is an extra inch or so in blade length really worth it?

Hey DC, I would like to have a Kimber Raptor, it's on my wishlist, but the price is a little wicked. Can't buy as many spyders if I get one. Sig makes some nice guns, but the price is a bit high as well. Any time I consider pulling the trigger (so to speak) on a Kimber Raptor, I keep thinking that ...

js Let me clear things up for you Javascript. I meant a stock .45 1911, steel frame, will recoil like a 9mm due to the two pounds of steel soaking up the kick. Adding a compensator or upgrading the springs will result in even less perceived recoil. Preloading the trigger, using a short reset techni...

s110v MULE Anyone? Want one, Say so!

Hey everybody! Im new here, so far, loving this forum! From reading the comments on Mules the last couple of days, I noticed there is a huge desire for a Mule in s110v. It seems to me to be by far the most requested steel for a Mule based on the many comments I have read. I would also love to try ou...
