You messed it up. I doubt it's the fault of ZDP-189. Any knife that lands tip first on concrete isn't going to fair too well. They don't send out blades. They will repair it for a $20 fee I believe but it's not going to be the same length. I think they will regrind it to a point again (maybe). Buy ...

This thing is definitely beyond repair... I could regrind it myself, wouldnt be hard at all. 1/3 of the blade has cracked off practically though. If they cant replace the whole blade, im not wasting the money. Thats kinda screwed up...

Still loving the knife, hating the fact that I can't put it down! Love the clicking noise it makes when you slide the blade out. Any suggestions for a new knife? I have a 4 Sevens Preon 1. It uses one AAA battery, and it is TINY. I clip it to the edge of my civilian labs (http://www.civilianlab.com/) Clip wallet. When the wallet is clipped on my left front pocket, the preon is always incredibly easy and fast to access. It does everything you need for EDC.

I second the cheapy hardware store idea. And if not that, I WOULD buy the chicago, or a similarly legal knife. No one plans to run into the cops. It could potentially save you a lot of cash and headaches. Is an extra inch or so in blade length really worth it?
