Re: Am I the only one?
I can middle-finger flick a PM2, Manix, or Domino; and yes, the Domino is silly because: flipper. I don't know why I figured that out. The thumb-flick is difficult on the Domino, so I don't try that - too close to earning that "cut myself" badge. Again. But the PM2 & Manix t...

Re: Cru-Wear for a standard production model
i totally got distracted by the pretty picture. Oops.
I am really liking cruwear so far. It seems kind of fine-grained, if that makes any sense - and seems plenty stainless so far, at least to me...

Re: Cru-Wear for a standard production model
I think Cru-Wear does a good job covering all the bases, even if it's not tops at anything. If you've got one of these types of diagrams, but with steel attributes at the corners, the shaded area is big: http://www.monkeybreadsoftware.de/xojo/chartdirector/images/multiradar_g.png Has anybody seen g...

Re: Happy with the Diversity.
I totally agree. I haven't tried that many things yet - but I've enjoyed the different steels; the different blade geometries; the differences of in-hand feel; even different locking mechanisms. It's all been fun, and I like learning what... I like, I suppose. :D

Re: Knife to raise support for cancer in men?
I'm in. Our primary care doc spotted my melanoma at an appointment for my wife. Early thirties, two young children, and she thought it was already too late. I was fortunate, and the younger of those two is graduating from high school next week - and I'm still here to see it. So, yeah: no-brainer. ;)...

Re: Birthday gift knife for me!?
BHQ should be dropping their Native 5 in M4 soon.
I think CS still has orange Manix 2 LW in s90v
I know you have a PM2 already, but KC(?) has that black G10 cruwear exclusve - I just got a knife in cruwear and I have really liked it so far...

Re: Pick a favorite out of these 5....
I've been carrying a hap40 caly since I got one - I started carrying it to see how I'd like it, but nothing has kicked it out.
I really like the native as well. I'd like to try the carbon fiber one of these days and see if the rounded cross section makes as nice a difference as I've heard.

Re: New Teal Delica
For at least one of my daughters, this is a favorite color. I see picking one up for her in my near future... :D
I like the color. It's in a very nice place in between previous greens and blues.
For what it's worth, Greens and Blues is also an excellent song by the Pixies.

Re: Help me choose a steel for copper/aluminum wire skinning/stripping
Surfingringo said pretty much what I would have wanted to say - just with more detail & experience. I don't have any experience with the H1 serrated - but it's especially tough, and H1 apparently maintains a better cutting edge when serrated. It also solves any issue you might have if it's reall...

Re: Spyderco Addiction
The flip side of addiction is overcompensating by skipping a sprint or exclusive you really didn't want to. I can tell myself that the DLT PM2's just moved too fast -- but I really have no excuse for the KW Manix 2 cruwear/cf.
That one still hurts...
