Hee Henk,
it's difficult to get some of the sprint runs from Usa shops so i don't think buying from Dutch stores will get you the sprint runs. They will be sold out before they ever reach us.
So try to buy directly from Spyderco or from Usa knife shops.

Any Word from Spyderco if the Smallfly is going to be discontinued? I have read rumors some time ago. If they disco. the Smallfly will there be any new bali coming up? Greets from Europe If they discontinue the bali's there will probably be no new ones. With all new legislations on balisongs ...

I did a little update on my review. I added pics of all the types/colors available at this moment. So the droppoint, leaf sheap and rescue blade. And colors grey, maroon, orange and light blue. (The orange and light blue are new for this forum). I don't know if there are more but these are all i know o...

Nice pics and comparing both ukpk's i think the frn 1 looks even better. :) The nice :spyder: makes it really look good and the grip/texture is as good (or even better) as the g10 handles. There's another thing about the pivot though. It appears that the pivot screw turns a little bit, every time yo...

Sal told us its something like 440. If i remember it in the right order it would have more edge retaining but less rust resistance than 440. So a very usable cheap steel with good rust resistance and easy to sharpen. (But i'm not really sure this is in the right order. Maybe some other members (Piet...

When Sal told us ( :spyder: meet) about knife laws with all the strange knife restrictions he also said the waved models would probably not last very long as a production model. I was always interested in the waved endura and delica so i bought me a waved :spyder :D elica. http://img.photobucket.com...

how to offer Damascus blade at a cheaper price point. Granted the materials are different but I've had very good experience with the damascus they use. I bet the Damascus isn't the only thing making it expensive. That bolster and jigged bone probably adds to the price too. If this was in the sub $2...

:spyder :D oes anyone know if the bolt lock will keep the blade in closed position better than the caged ball lock? The proto type sage worked like a caged ball lock and an axis lock. So the the knife could be opened with a flick. Sal told us they tried to find something to modify the lock so it wo...

The pics show the Ti UKPK with a FFG blade and the FRN UKPK with a saber grind - is that the plan? Sal told us the FRN UKPK is supposed to be the low budget range. Not really aimed at knife knuts like us but aimed at a bigger public. People that are new to knives will more likely prefer the hollow ...

I'm also using my folders for food prep. Just because i like to try them out and i carry them in my pocket. I do have a knife block with cheap kitchen knives but only use them for dirty jobs. Sometime ago i put all my kitchen knives away out of the kitchen and replaced them by a Mora 860. So this is...
